Any particular reason you went with a sergeant rank for this impression? Per mid-war TO&E, the Rifle Grenadier should be a PFC in the rifle company.

You are correct but later war they made the assistant squad leader a grenadier and a ASL would hold the rank of Sgt. Now by that point of the ear it would most likely be an M1 rifle with a M7 launcher but because I found an m1 launcher I wanted to use it. But that's not the main reason, the main reason I have Sgt stripes on is because officially in my reenactment group I hold the rank of Sgt and this impression isn't really my main one so on all of my uniforms I have Sgt stripes.

@@reenactmentdays5891 ah gotcha, nice detail there. I’ve always found it strange how the rifle squads entire rank composition changes in 1944, it’s a really interesting alteration that totally changes the role of SSGTs and SGTs in the rifle company
