Ciara and West are still undecided as to what their future is after the awkward conversation at the horse riding date. Jesse Soloman celebrates 5 years cancer free (hell yeah Jesse). Carl and Kyle have a sit down about what his role at Loverboy would be. When he discusses it with Lindsay, her questions about the topic leads to frustrations... These two cannot communicate with one another... West throws a Doomsday party for the end of the summer bash. Meanwhile, Danielle launches the Donne app after years of development. Cameras pick back up in a week to see the conclusion of Lindsay and Carl... Was she blindsided? Do you have a side? Or is this a couple that simply never should have been together...?

I agree. West and Jesse are both f-boys but at least with Jesse, he wears it on his sleeve so there are no surprises. West is the worst type of f-boy that destroys you because he presents as a nice guy and you feel safe to lower your guard down. You then don't realize what he is until it's too late 😭

Completely agree! I had had a glimmer of hope for him at beginning of season, but the last 2 episodes extinguished it. F-Boy. The scariest kind too.

Love this recap! It's great to hear a male perspective for this show. I really don't understand why Ciara is putting up with this non-commital behavior from men like Austen and West. West reminds me of some of the other doctor's kids I used to grow up with who have arrested development due to growing up somewhat affluent. My bf and I also grew up with physicians as parents but we're both pursuing doctoral degrees (I'm American born and he moved here to NYC after growing up in Europe). I was able to find an amazing man here in the city who doesn't have commitment issues so why is Ciara - an educated nurse and literal Victoria's Secret model - allowing these men to hurt her?? No shade to Austen and West but there are way more successful and hotter guys here who would love the chance to take her out. I don't get it. She needs to look outside of reality tv guys and try dating a doctor or finance bro instead!

I'm pushing for the Kyle takedown: his stranglehold over the show, its cast and production to push Loverboy, cancel and lies about those who chose to sign up with other drink companies, not paying any of the cast to promote, advertise and drink the product on screen and on socials and holding Amanda back from her own dreams is unfair and unkind. Look what happened to Hannah, she joined another drink company and he went out of his way to ruin her. Lindsay wanting for Carl to ask questions about the new position was for this very reason as well. Team Craig. I hate Kyle.

I think Lindsay wishes Carl felt the same urgency Wes did when he didn’t have a job. She was probably losing respect but didn’t want to face it. She’s thinking he is going to get serious about this soon and it won’t be a problem anymore.

Linsday just doesn't know when to stop until she gets so angry she walks away. Carl wants peace at any cost because he's trying to manage his sobriety. They are a toxic combination, so thank goodness Carl was willing to do the difficult thing and break up.

I live Monica she's relatable and beautiful and brings such a different element to the show. I used to love Heather but she seems a bit full of herself now. So sad!!!!!!

Do you think that Carl doesn’t feel supported enough in his sobriety and rebuilding his life as a sober person and Lindsay not having the experience or compassion for someone going through that life change? It’s sad because the love they had for each other as people is now destroyed and became toxic.

Ah, but there's the loophole. Cast members are "independent contractors" not employees. So they have language in the contracts that they sign each season that give the cast a certain amount of discretion. It's also to keep them safe: you don't want a production company forcing them into an unsafe or dangerous situation.

I disagree with Monica being on Salt Lake City, she was a fan of the show, a lier and can’t be trusted. Monica has no authentic friendships with any of the ladies prior to her being on the show. Miami and Beverly Hills are my favorite franchises.

He literally said he would invite her to Thanksgiving if it was tomorrow, but then followed it up with a word salad where he said that he's scared of commitment and that he can't stop speaking to other girls.
