Would be nice to see how you animate the whole body without sliding feet and the use of IK.
@mewrozchannel33304 жыл бұрын
don't depend on the tutorial mate, sometimes you just got to jump in and let your curiosity take over. basically you got to make sure that your animation can be filtered in with the context character your using. for example. a Genesis 3 character will work perfectly with a genesis 2 animation. without the feet making the character look like they are levitating off the floor. hope this helps

In blender, the transition between two poses is always the shortest path. The left hand will move straight up. With the same two poses above, in blender, I have to create 1 more middle pose to make it more natural. With only 2 poses like this, blender can't make a natural movement. The animation mechanism of blender is using translation to translate between 2 poses. What is the mechanism of this tool? I'm I understand this correctly?

@Superlative CG I read your suggestion as "muddy up the results" and "throw more money at it until it works at a usable speed". No offense to you, I don't doubt you are speaking from personal experience that might be different from mine. But Daz's heavy reliance on sub-par (compared to other available) solutions makes the use of third party software almost mandatory.

Honestly, this is the biggest problem with Daz. It would be really helpful if these Turorials adress sliding. It its simply misleading calling these pose to pose animations seamless. Working with the body and physics doesn't mean sliding from one pose to another is seamless.

Both timeline and animate2 is useless garbage: you can't even move keyframes. Animate2 blocks are purely cosmetical and does not affect anything in the scenes. This is unacceptable. I hope Daz team will work out something like Blender team did.
