I am from Somerset PA where we have lots of snow and 2 ski resorts. I like to see how 🤔you all get around in the snow. I also can see what vehicles not to buy. That first guy had chains on and he couldn't get around. Either his vehicle is bad in the snow or he can't drive.....or both. Having fun with ya 😘 all. Keep the ❄ out there please!!

@@ldero9520 Since the car is naturally going to lean back when accelerating uphill, more weight goes over the part of the car in the back, so you get more traction on the drive wheels if they're in the back. The steeper the hill, the greater the difference.

@FiferSkipper Жыл бұрын
@@ldero9520 I can say from experience that you are wrong. I once drove three miles up a hill (near Colfax) backwards with my head hanging out the window. After covering m my face in snow repeatedly, I wanted nothing more than to drive forwards but each time I tried the chained front wheels would only slide. Backwards worked and I made it home with an ice-beard two inches thick! @@xtc996 a few years back, our company had visitors in their 30s come from back east to visit. Many of them were bragging about their skiing abilities. I don't downhill, but one of my colleagues did, a woman who was 50 and was in fantastic shape and has been skiing for 40 years. You could tell they thought she was too old to "really" ski. She took them skiing at Heavenly for the day. The next day I asked them how it went...they were in awe of her. One of them was like " our final run, we went to a black diamond run and Jessica just dropped in and rocketed off, she was waiting for us at the lodge, drink in hand" I asked her about it and she said they'd been acting like jerks all day and were barely average skiers, but wanted to see what the big deal was about the Sierras. We laughed.
