Security guard in custody after food delivery dispute turns deadly

And he had a illegal gun and his mother said he didn't use it. He just drove away and crashed so she is going by what his girlfriend told his mother. First, I’m sad for the loss of life, but I have to be real here for a moment. Company policy for many manufacturing facilities is you don’t allow food delivery on site. It’s a safety hazard. Every employee is told you can’t have food delivered here. If you wanna leave on your lunch, break to go get food that is fine but you can’t have someone come here. You can’t even have someone come here, pull up to the gate and you meet them that is not allowed and the company can set that policy and security is supposed to enforce it. I’m not saying the young man should’ve been shot no but security was right to tell him don’t have that person back up here again. Now I’ll tell you what happened the security guard probably was a cocky security guard. He probably did tell people what to do and how to do it. The young man when he was told don’t have your friend up here probably did say, man mind your damn business. I have no doubt they both got aggressive with each other. The security guard didn’t just pull out his gun on him and say you gonna do what I say no they were both being aggressive. The only thing we don’t know is who pulled their gun first even then you probably have to determine who was being aggressive with the other person first did anyone touch the other person? Do you have audio of threat being made? I’m not gonna play games here. I know both of these guys were flexing were puffing their chest out. I have seen it at other production facilities suppliers all over Detroit have to workers. Don’t have people deliver food here and they hire security just to make sure food isn’t delivered here. I had to go to my mother job to pick up my key to my house. Guess what I wasn’t allowed on the property. I couldn’t even come to the gate hand over the gate to get a key that was Company policy and it was their parking lot. I had to follow it. She had to meet me across the street from the facility and people who want food delivered. Need to follow the rules. I’m not saying this young man should’ve lost his life, but he should have followed the rules that’s it.

A security guard in most cases has to get confirmation from someone over him or her to let anyone enter company property. This is for the safety of all employees and authorized visitors. It’s tragic that another young man has lost his life, but the mother stating that a security guard just decided to throw his life away to shoot her none aggressive son sounds improbable. Karma is real. Delayed in some cases, and sometimes immediate.
