That’s why there was a Woden being worshiped in England long before the first Viking calling him Odin set foot on English soil. The fuck are you talking about dweeb? Varangians literally founded Kievan Rus. And varangians were Scandinavians not Slavs. They were assimilated AFTER the Viking age. But they most definitely conquered your Slav ancestors 😂 You Slavs ain’t never conquered shit from Germanics. Rurik was a goddamn Scandinavian which makes him a Germanic. They certainly played fast and loose with some of the facts. For instance, Wyatt had no intention of retiring from law enforcement, he planned on running for sheriff, and did serve as deputy sheriff. But of all the Earp/Holiday/Tombstone movies, and I have 9 on DVD, this one is the most accurate.

@soledisciple
@soledisciple 2 жыл бұрын
@@Defied_-vw2jz Yes, I love movies where the main character goes from calm, to simmering, then to erupting in vengeance. But Tombstone made it clear that Wyatt was not looking for revenge but for a reckoning instead. This is far more terrifying for the Cowboys Gang because revenge means Wyatt would only kill those specific people who killed his brother. But a reckoning is equivalent to full genocide or eradication of the Cowboys Gang to purify the land from their evil once and for all.

Kurt Russell: I’m thinking I’m going to play this scene up a bit. Wyatt has been calm and collected so far, but I’m going to show a little anger and edginess. Director: Turn it up to 11. Russell: Is it ok if I shout? Because I’m thinking about really dialing it up here. Director: Yes. Shout. Show some emotion. I want the audience to see some menace from Wyatt. *Russell does scene* Director: Holy... did we get the low angle shot? Please tell me we got the low angle shot!

You can't fully appreciate this scene until you've seen a man in real life reach that point. I have. Different circumstances, different words spoken (actually whispered, rather than shouted), but the meaning was VERY clear - hell was just two steps behind him and woe be unto any that got in his way.

There's a saying that the man who just wanted to raise his family, do his job, and be left alone is the most dangerous. Because, they know that if they're ever pushed to a point to take up violence, they would be sacrificing all that they hold most dear. So, they're literally men who have nothing left and will seek vengeance on those that made him that way..
