The issue with the kick might be the depth. Drums are odd in that adding material reduces sustain. You’ll get a lower fundamental out of a shallower kick because the heads interact more naturally. The only way to compensate for that on a deep kick is to hit it harder…but most people can’t hit it hard enough to make up for the difference.

Those look awesome!!! I also loved the way they sound. But I use Aric Improta’s Remo art beat collection heads.. (I had purchased multiple of the same heads so I’d have a set to hang up on the wall) but I’d definitely love to get those heads! I’m not sure if it’s your kit, the heads, the mixing, or all of the above but your covers are amazing and sound great!

Man, those aren't available in my area, I don't think. But I'm really excited to see some new innovations like the logic dot and the orbits. Hopefully they grow and become available in more stores, or at least kick the big names back into gear.

the bass drums definitely has more beef, like, it has more bass tone than before , a more warm tone, The snare is too dry for me but toms and kick are awesome
