Odd. One of the posts showed up in search, and when I followed that link, it took me to the page. Here's the link that got me there. facebook.com/Dakau-1085373868224244/?hc_ref=SEARCH&fref=nf

Here's my totally honest review: You really captured the vintage 80's feel to the music style and the recording! "Cars Pass Me By" is straight out of 1980. I like the juxatosition of the up-tempo with sullen lyrics. I love the runs on the bass in this track. The backing harmonies are a good touch, too. "The Dark" has a really strong Cure vibe, especially in the bassline. I love the vintage synths in this one!! I'm not crazy about the vocal effects on this track; the distortion has a potential, but it just comes off as distracting. "Fall From Grace" has a beautiful melody, but the treble is soooo shrill, it's migrane enducing when listening with headphones - I know you're trying to stay old school with the recording, but this track really needs some digital leveling, to tone down the painful shrillness. It's a shame, because it's otherwise a cool song, and with the distortion on the guitar making an almost sitar-esque sound, but honestly, the high pitched treble leveling has gone into bleedy ear territory, and I can't listen to it. "Absence of Light" is sweet and sad. It gives me a bit of an Amanda Palmer vibe (but gloomier, with on-key singing, hehe.) Overall, I think you've made a great demo, and you're all really talented artists. I look forward to hearing more!

Thank you so much for your review of the music. I asked for honesty and you've given a thoroughly honest review, which is brilliant. On our FB page is the first demo we released too (We've put out two so far). I'd like to hear your thoughts on that one too :-)
