Hi. It's an good idea but a bit expensive, considering that you may get the same effect by using old fashion lamp oil (kerosine). Flushing will work only if you are doing this periodically. If your diesel engine is old and got lot's of sh.t around the engine oil cap and if you can see the same stuff inside the engine through the oil cap, be carefuul. This is not a miracle fluid and for engine in this condition can cause its permanent damage. Much more GOOD you'll make by changing oil 2x or 3x per year then. You'll gonna flush and clean the engine too just by using fresh engine oil. Cleaning process will by longer, but way more safer for the engine. Anyway, good job and yes, I'm for YES for flushing engine from time to time. P.S. Don't forget to flush coolant system too using proper flushings, it is a very fragile system too, where metal parts are working too.😊

If you buy a car and it hasn't been maintained with frequent oil changes, then a Engine flush is not a waste of money. It's a Waste of money doing a Engine flush every 4000 Miles. Just change the oil frequently, that is as good as a engine flush. Sometimes Engine flush can do more harm than good with older cars. So just change the oil frequently. With a Decent oil, doesn't have to be super expensive.
