Wool is actually warmer and much more breathable than acrylic. Acrylic tends to trap heat and can feel clammy when wet, making it less comfortable in cold conditions despite feeling initially warm

Most knitters have two mutually exclusive hobbies: knitting and buying yarn. I put a hold on my Yarnable and Row One subscriptions because like you, I wasn't knitting through them. In addition to my other yarn purchases, I was always net positive in yardage every month. I made the Hollyberry socks last Christmas, and I just love them. Yorkshire Spinners just gets me when it comes to Christmas yarn. I enjoy your sweater-making so much. I live in Alabama and can realistically only wear Suri in a hat, so I will enjoy vicariously your fade and Ranunculus. I have the same olive-colored Yarnable from last year. Hypnotic Yarns made a video about it when it came out. I need to use it this year, if only to restart my subscription. I love how the Carousel sweater turned out! Although the neck is a bit boxy, a T-shirt underneath and a scarf will make it function perfectly as a sweatshirt or jacket. Thank you for your videos!

I’m loving knitting sweaters right now, and have so many ideas for what I want to cast on next. I also want to finish up some lingering projects and deadline knits. I have 2 cousins having babies this year that I want to make blankets for and a co-worker who is leaving at the end of the school year to be close to family that I want to gift something special. There is never enough time to knit all the things and knit for myself. Thanks for watching. 😊
