I use muriatic acid on my calcite crystals , I just don't dip them long and rinse with fresh water right after. Also you can dip Qtips in it to clean them up with too.. definitely beautiful pieces you found.. I found a place near sweetwater station that has full agate nodules. If I had a way to show you more private I'd give you the location to it. Lol.
