Not thinking about the voiceover, I was so into the video, but I couldn't understand the clucking. When you said "Did you hear that? Someone on the ranch just laid an egg.", I lost it! Beautiful scenery, stunning finds, and great laughs. Thank you.

If you like Drusy you need to get to Wisconsin. Specifically, along the Mississippi you should be able to find a lot all over.

Are you talking about that Strawberry Quartz druzy? I have seen videos on that stuff it is really nice. I live in northern Illinois and used to live along the Mississippi river just south of Dubuque Iowa on the Illinois side of the river. Where specifically in Wisconsin can I find this druzy?

@ I dig AU and crystals of all kinds, garnets and pegmatite ore bodies, I mine all of it
Hi C. Glad you could get out to Haunted Ridge. You found some amazing pieces. The Root Beer quartz is just amazing out there. I just wish it was easier to dig in that red clay dirt. I just love Haunted Ridge. Going back in December. I soak my pieces in Iron Out. That will clean them up a little more. It will get most if not all of the red clay and dirt off the rocks in the holes. Power wash again after you take them out of the bucket of Iron Out while they are still wet. If you ever go back please let me know I would love to go rock hounding with you. I can meet you out there.

Have a rare few days off this upcoming week and trying to spend a day looking for some banded iron and making a video, I think I have a couple spots figured out but if you'd be willing to share any that would be cool too! Probably staying in the Casper area Thursday evening.

Ran into a Prarie Rattler the other day while hiking in Medicine Bow. Cute feller. A fighter, too. Left him alone. I was in his backyard, not mine😂.
