Very few Hollywood actors today could carry themselves in acting the way this movie was portrayed. Great acting, great western, great movie, definitely late 1970's vibe the music was well chosen. Thankyou for this movie

Actually not too bad for a recent-made Western (as none since "Tombstone" and "Appaloosa" have been worth watching) . I'm a historian /writer/artist, studied history since 1959, BA degree Graphic Arts and History ,specially Civil War and Old West/Native American.Two major flaws- the same flaws 98% of ALL Hollywood Westerns have: No. !- Actors don't know how to handle real guns with real bullets. They nearly ALL show "fanning" a single action revolver (where you hold back the trigger and with left hand "fan" the hammer, slapping it back to fall and fire in very rapid motion. NOBODY in a real shootout ever did that, as it is extremely in-accurate sloppy shooting that will not hit your opponent, and get you killed by the guy who cocks the gun, aims, then fires ! And No.2: Saloons were considered strictly men's domain , like a club, and women were NOT allowed. "Fallen Angels/Soiled Doves" (prostitutes) were quartered in dance halls and bawdy houses. Each town designated ONE day a week prostitutes were allowed in town on the streets ,to shop for clothes and personal needs, And all good women of town would stay at home all day on that day.. The Music is totally modern country& does NOT fit the period and mood properly Wardrobe was somewhat okay, but often not the correct look of the times. Firearms used were pretty authentic for the period. Donovan used a. Remington 1875 Model Army .44, and looks like a Colt1873 Army .45 for second gun. The outlaw leader used a nice Smith & Wesson 1875 Schofield .45 "Wells Fargo" Model, very cool. Donovan's Rifle , a Winchester 1892 Model cut down barrel and stock in .44-40, and had a 6-round tubular magazine. Known as the "Mare's Leg", DID NOT even exist, as it was produced in 1958, and 1993 for TV Westerns. "Cyrus Harper", the former slave, was the best actor of the whole dang bunch! So I rate the movie at 1 star out of five ! (Staff Sgt., Ret.,, USMC/USAF/ARNG. 1/1/2025 -Happy New Year's !)

Now this is just from a Mans perspective and Lord knows I can't figure a Woman out, but I would think telling four strangers Your vulnerable wouldn't be Your best move that day. Too many decent movies have been ruined by over used sound tracks. Not every scene requires a song, it's now a music video.
