I have just recently started watching Stargate SG1 and have fallen in love with the Jack/Daniel friendship. It is totally the reason why I got hooked on this show - especially Daniel. I love Michael Shanks! And I love this video! You have managed to capture some of the funniest times (or exchanged expressions) between these two (especially Daniel) that I have ever seen. Great editing and love the song as well!

I agree, way better chemistry together. Half the people I know only watched it because of Jack and Daniel's chemistry and friendship. After they "killed" Daniel for the sixth season, they said it wasn't the same. Same when Rick left the show. And you're welcome.

Perfect! I know people see slashy potential between them, but really what I like most is their friendship. I really like vids like this where people can read what they like. You can take it as a deep friendship (like I do) or you can hold it at a diffrent angle and see romance. Either way, it's a good vid. Doesn't hurt that BNL kicks ass either. XD ~

You know, I used to be rather indifferent about Jack/Daniel. Lately, I've been thinking about the concepts of friendship and romance and ended up rewatching Need for the specific purpose of comparing Daniel's relationships to Shyla and Jack. I realized that Daniel's relationship to Jack could be seen as more of a romance than that between Daniel and Shyla and Jack could be seen as a slightly jealous boyfriend! Now that I've thought about it, I can't remember Daniel ever saying he's had sex with Sha're but he hasn't said he hasn't had sex with Jack yet people tend to assume he's had sex with Sha're but not Jack. (I'm not saying he can't be bisexual) Maybe the only reason Jack/Daniel isn't considered canon is that it's a slash ship - I don't think the concept of romance is gender neutral. I still don't ship Jack/Daniel but I now completely understand the rationale behind it.
