Hahahaha the "cheese flavour" stick that you had was actually meant to be mentaiko flavour (marinated roe of pollock and cod). Also, the tough strips were "Kabayaki-san Taro", a cod-fish base with the flavor of grilled eel.

How did you find out it was MSG giving you headaches? I ask because since 2011, I have begun to have frequent migrains. Sometimes it goes on for a week to a month, even though I go to the ER and get dosed to kill it. All I can do is reduce it, so really it rarely ever goes away totally. I had a head scan, and nothing showed. I'm trying to find what is causing this shit.

Yeah, I just had sort of a revelation, too. For more than a year now I've had these horrible headaches that start from the back of my neck and get worse and worse and make me super sick (nausea) and I'm thinking it might be MSG! I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for that... I hope you find out what it is, too... living with this sort of pain is no fun

MiGaming I have found that putting a cold pack on the back of my head at the bottom can help. If I get the atlas clusters frozen enough it can help dial it down to where I can live with it. Another thing is from the health food place Good Apple, I use a MY*GRASTICK. It is all nautral, and can really help. I put it on the atlas clusters(they are nerve bundles), and on my temples and on the upper part of my forehead where the sinus passages travel upward, to open them with this essentials oils tiny roll on. Sometimes taking Ginsing with Ginko bilboa at the start can open stuff up and relieve pressure. I'm going to look and see if what I've been eating has MSG. I know shit high in triglycerides can set a migrain off, as can stress and anxiety. So I try and avoid situations that can help push the pain up more. I hope you get pain free also.

if it isnt msg, you should take a look at your food in general. you can try eating a week extremely healthy and watch if it changes. that means no processed foods.

Nancy E. Garcia It is Monosodium glutamate. It is something used to add to the flavor of food. There is a lot of good and bad said about the stuff. Many believe it causes headaches, which for some it does. I hope this helps. Otherwise I'd say google about it, and you will find out lots. Google is good for almost any topic lol.
