you should stir and mix rice, vegetables and suace(Gochujang) altogether with spoon, and eat it with spoon. Bibimbap is 100 times tastier when it mixed. That's Bibimbap because Bibimbap means stiring and mixing in Korean.

In Korean culture, you don't have to use chopsticks to eat rice. A spoon is more appropriate. And put the korean chili paste (unless already in it) into bibimbap and mix thoroughly before tasting. Muuuuch better ;)

When I was in junior high & was living in Tuscaloosa, AL my best friend was Korean. I constantly wanted to eat at their house cause the food was SOOOOO GOOD!! Her mom made her own kimchi & the backyard was full of the jars she had buried. They always had a rice cooker full of rice 24/7. The best thing ever was to get a bowl of rice, kimchi & the seaweed wraps (used for sushi) and wrap up some rice & kimchi. I could eat that till I was sick. I miss those days!! Once I moved to Birmingham, I didn't really get to see her anymore. We are still friends on Facebook & she now does all of her mom's old dishes since her mom passed away. I'm the only one in the family who likes Korean food, so I hardly ever get to eat any. 😞 I love your channel!! I hit the bell to get notifications when you post, so I don't miss anything. Kimchi pancakes are life. You can buy the batter mix online and find many recipes on KZbin. Maangchi has great Korean recipes. Also seaweed salad is totally delicious but I've never seen a portion that big. That's not normal to get that much at once so maybe the restaurant just likes you. Just pop it in the fridge and have it some other time :)

Hello, from South Korea🤗 Miso soup is Japanese food and doenjang soup is Korean food. Korean soybean paste is fermented only with 100 percent beans, and Miso is fermented with rice or barley added to the beans. I left a comment because you said Miso soup on the Korean food menu. Russ, your chopstick skills could use some work lol. Ask Chris to show you how, cuse he's got got his fingers in the right place at least, even if he doesn't look 100% comfortable with it lol. The seaweed is my absolute favorite. My order would be seaweed, kimchi, then miso, then cucumbers. I don't eat meat though, so I'm not sure about the bibimbap and I'd def never eat that thing that def has meat in it. Never had kimchi pancakes, but they look super yummy. You guys would maybe be more comfortable if you sat seiza style. That's how one typically sits at one of those tables, at least in Japan.

It is a phobia called misophonia . I have it too..can't do movies with the popcorn chewers, mexican rest. with the chips and than chinese with the friend noodles. We always have bad luck going out and end up near a gross loud chewer (mouth wide open) But you guys have manners!!! I have not had any cringe moments when you make these videos.
