The customers also benefit in the end, too. Reduced waste means not only less waste cost for Wyrmwood but also less material & production cost (compared to buying raw lumber and cutting it down) for the other companies, all of which should make for less overall need to raise product prices.

Good tip: have two seperate options for the hex tile storage tray; one with the end caps one without. 100% will save time and resources not having to make extra endcap sets that won't be used, but also gives people the option to buy extra ones with endcaps if they want/need them

off-cuts like that are super useful for small woodworking artisans, doing exactly the form of woodworking that was pointed out - the geometric patchwork-style stuff can be really fun to do! Biggest thing I've thrown away was a California King box spring when moving out of an apartment. Getting it up the stairs when moving in took ~5 hours, the removal of a bannister and a handrail, and the replacement of a section of drywall. When I moved out I was dreading the effort to remove it... I decided it was 10 years old and needed replacing anyway, so we took a reciprocating saw and just cut the damned thing into quarters. 😆

i work at a school and one summer i had to throw away 30 nova desks. they were made out of very heavy, one inch thick mdf. had tempered glass in the top, and i had to take them down and elevator from a second story building. they weighed nearly 200 pounds a piece. then i had to break them up before i tossed them to maximize the dumpster the school had rented. made some gains that week.

So I put on some metal music, got out the Sawzall and hatchet and proceed to dismember the couchy corpses so they would fit. I get a knock on my door and it's the nice older Russian lady that lived below me. She didn't speak a word of English but she handed me a Russian to English new testament Bible. I originally tried to smash it up with a sledge hammer, but the head came off the handle and went into drywall, then I found out I could just pull the pieces apart with my hands for the most part. 3 hours after initial airing, and no comments about how WW should solve their waste problem by donating tiny portions of their huge daily waste output? Color me pleasently surprised. Glad y'all found a sustainable way not to toss it in the dumpster. Really appreciated the insight from Doug that where y'all're now is in part a result of where you came from as a rapidly expanding small startup. As for the shade being cast on JV for saying 'Warrior' instead of 'Fighter': Plenty of OSR games actually use that term, especially since they don't make a distinction between fighter & barbarian. Ditto non-D&D games. Crap like this is why people can develop such a hate-boner for 5E & it's community... you aren't the only game in town (literally, LOL) & you damn well knew what he meant regardless.

I don't know if the final decisions for the classic adventuring party have been made. But personally, for the thief set, I think that the paduk core with wenge accents looks better, at least for the vault. I would like a better look at the prototypes, but I think I lean toward the paduk tops for the vault. I think that those look great separately, and by gut says they'll look fantastic as a set.
