Thanks. Dizzy has been my main and one of my favorite characters ever for 20 years, but I really had trouble figuring out how her new gameplay was meant to work. Now I think I am starting to see how this new kit is meant to be used, and I can start the process to unlearn my old reflexes. ...I still kind of regret the double airdash mixups of the past. But hey. XD

One setup that i learned by watching other player (can't remember the name) is by going for 236S freeze floor > 2H > 236P > 236K allows you to get a 50/50 that you can combo off, the trick is making the 236P hit otg so then you dash up press tap dust and 236k will hit so you can combo 5K > 6H from it and if you go for 2K > 2D or 2D, 236K hits and then you can do 236S and it will freeze where as normally it wouldn't

Note: If you freeze someone at the wall, when they wallsplat from the freeze cracking they will always wallslump. Could be incredibly useful for finishing out a WoL timer.

You know i wish they would actually do this! I play A.B.A and every single Dizzy i fight runs away and cant even hit the most basic Dizzy combo, or pressure that even i can do! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LEARN THE GAME!

@@HolyTrinity-bz4li When they have over 100 matches with her under there belt, i would expect them to actually know a little about how she works. And even though its only been a couple of days, things are already begun to be figured out. Like a win con is usually what takes time to really figure out, but alot of people have begun to agree that it is her set up. Wings of light, Ice field, Fish. She has very strong setup that leads to pressure, and one cant be reacted too (2K 2D fish and then dash over your opponent and FDC, or jump on the air and and they have to guess which side your on. If they are wrong you can do the same setup). I mean its fair. You cant expect everyone to watch videos on a charter and learn them, but damn is it unfun as an A.B.A to fight someone it feels like you cant approach without having to deal with so many projectiles

@ Trust me I get your frustration with fighting Dizzy. Her set play is very annoying to deal with for sure Lol. But to be honest I feel like that’s just the game in general. Knockdown your opponent and set play them to death. This is one of the things I like the least about strive. But the absolute worst offenders right now are Gold Lewis And Ram did these two really need the buffs that they were given?! Don’t worry people will get better over time and Dizzy will be even more annoying to fight 😂. Think about it over 100 matches isn’t that much experience compared to people who have been playing their characters for months or even years.

Def matchup specific but i do use 5k, 2s, 2d the most or just walk back and try to react.
