My personal experience with Wyze CamV3 is that that when they work they are great. Having said that I have not had one that lasts longer than 18 months, they fail for various reasons. I have had two replaced under warranty, I have two right now that are out of warranty and will not connect to my network no matter what I do. When they do work the night vision is fantastic and daytime vidieo is also great, the audio on the other hand is terrible. I find them to be unreliable, you get what you pay for.

Here because Wyze has been down a few times in the past couple months, rendering all of my Wyze devices useless (8 V2 cams, dead bolt smart lock, thermostat, gun safe, and scale)

One thing I like about 24/7 recording with Eufy is when you view past footage is you can click to move to the next (or previous) motion event. So if you are looking for something over the past several days its much quicker. My experience with Wyze is you have to scroll through all the footage a few minutes at a time. So that takes a lot longer to find something.

I don't know if this is because I'm beta test or not but Wyze V3 and cam pan 2 have the similar feature. If you load the camera to live you and then hit view playback you have this bar that goes back and forth to choose videos. But like I said I'm a beta tester so I don't know if my camera's have a beta firmware or not and I am using a beta software.

If you have the new homebase 3, according to Eufy, when they update the c24 outdoor cam(which was supposed to have happened already in Oct), you will pick up some more functions like vehicle and pet detect, along with all you footage on the header 3!

I like your videos. I prefer reviews by a person I can see, who has actually installed and used gear. I won't even watch by reviewers you don't see. One thing that is barely mentioned in most reviews I've seen is the app. I've been using Wyze for a few years. The cameras are fine for the money, but their app is too unreliable. It often fails to send notifications and in some cases, doesn't record events. All the cameras are pretty good these days. The app seems to be what makes or breaks the system. How long do you field test these systems? Do you do long term reviews? Perhaps you could do a review just on the reliability of the apps.

Remember everyone... The Eufy c24 came out a year ago and I think is still superior over wyze. I have had Wyze cams since V1. The cameras became somewhat useless without the cam plus sub... I decided to go all in on eufy and I do not regret my decision. The Eufy App is WAY better IMO. if I schedule my cameras not to give notifications when im home... it actually works!!! Wyze Not so much... Build quality is way better by far. Eufy wins there The Wyze starlite sensor is great for still images... but add movement and its a ghosted mess As of right now they are sold out of these on Eufys website... and at $100 at best buy, it seems steep. Although it dose come with a SD card. When I got mine on the eufy site they were $70 each.

I purchased one today on Amazon that is refurbished for $65 I am having problems with my V3 pro keep having to unplug it to reset it it keeps going offline when you click on the app it will not boot up but when you walk up on the porch is working but you can't access it with your app it's weird they can't understand it I have to keep unplugging it and like he said it's useless if you don't have the subscription the pro subscription order the other camera to back up the wyze camera so when I'm not home when it goes offline I still have a camera that is working this is what I'm talking about I don't know how many other people are having this problem but it's a lot of talk on Google about it

Eufy Solo has a much better recorded audio and the video quality is excellent in definition at mid to close range, with a slight edge over the Wyze V3 pro. Color is good enough with Eufy, just not as bright as the color on Wyze

well they are pretty close on video quality, although one might be better based on personal preference, both of them will give SAME level of details and information. For detection range, Wyze is better here by miles. Also, half the price? If there is not much traffic or movement, 5mins cool down Wyze detection is enough and free.

if you check bestbuy deals i have got the Eufy Solo Outdoor Cam C24 for as low as $50 on bestbuy, on amazon it goes to $60, eufy is still better than wyze at $100 for a camera that came out like a year ago. This current wyze cam v3 pro has too much glitches and the app doesn't work properly.

I been looking into both doorbells and (I believe) neither work with existing chime like my Ring does. I'm still tossing bkth Wyze and Eufy brands aroumd because I want to get full setup with one or the other. I am unsure about the magnetic mount with Eufy bit also with limited features of Wyze.... such a hard choice!

Hi love your channel always helpful and interesting don't know if you are aware but eufy have a flaw apparently if u hold the sync button down for ten seconds it wipes the camera from your account and deletes any previous footage I have three cameras and two are reachable if you are tall and determined just thought u should know I have checked on a forum and its on a KZbin don't mean to be a killjoy or to trash anything u say I like eufy products and I have recommended them to my friends and family may have to look at some else without a subscription guess I will be watching your channel for ideas

For me the edge goes to Wyze for their window mount and Starlight sensor. At least for v3. Not sure if it has it for the pro, I’d imagine it does. Do you have a recommendation for a good 2 or 4K window camera? I watched your window cam videos including the Panesonic home hawk (not convinced with that one.. it’s a little obtrusive).

I am leaning toward buying Eufy C24 rather than Wyze V3 PRO. However, I read online that Eufy's app display ads and that is deterring me from buying it. I don't want security app showing ads and thus delay the viewing on camera. Is there an option on the app to turn off the ads? If there is no option to disable ads for Eufy then I might go with Wyze V3 PRO.

There is a setting in the app that you can turn off pop ups but Eufy makes it subtle and personally, it is not that distracting like other brands. It is not also all the time...I will see it occasionally.

I do not feel bothered with the ads... as long as the ads does not pop up.... you can turn off the pop ups There is an explore menu (shopping menu).... if you never select that menu then you can also just ignore it.... Most likely you only focus on device menu, events menu & security menu for checking camera everyday

Went to look at my wyze V3 pro Cam this morning and it's offline.. I keep unplugging this camera and resetting it..it works for a little while and goes right back offline I just emailed them about it and sent them a picture..I don't know what else to do I want to get rid of this camera and their service..I believe I well if they can't get it right.. thank goodness the other camera coming in so when this camera goes down like it is I still have something working 🥺😪

My experience with Wyze: customer service reps DON’T listen. Email support gets passed off to different reps (start over explaining issue). FORGET WYZE. Buy something else.

Wyze V3 PRO has only one thing better and that is Night vision .. Eufy across the board is way better and has way way better audio... Imagine trying to tell a crook to get off your property with that Wyze... the crook prolly would think you swallowed a bowel of marbles... Eufy for the win !

Well for Eufy I just noticed my wifi at condo is down. OK so I want to view the Eufy videos recorder to eufy cloud..... CAN NOT. Previously have been able to now I get a wait circle arrow and then camera offline message. What on earth. And I haven't checked before I don't believe but forums (from 2019) seem to indicate they don't record locally when they don't have internet. Can't believe that's true but why now can I not view any cloud videos? Already really ticked I purchased the home base 2 on their it works with the cameras after w certain date... then they never bothers so it's just a,piece of trash o paid like $80 for. Now there is a base 3 that does work with the cameras I guess and will work with the rest later (except they seem to never fulfill their promises.) They should give every home base 2 purchaser a free 3... or there should be a massive class action suit

Wyze had a much better picture. Sure the license plate detection isn’t as good, everything else is…for half the price of Eufy. Wyze is better, even with having to get a subscription. My Wyze subscription is the Wyze unlimited. 99 cameras for $99/yr. It’s well worth it for me. I have 12 cameras. That’s $8.25/camera per year!
