@Martin-Techno-Gadget-Guy4 ай бұрын
I watched EUFY's the live presentation last night in a pitch black back yard and the ghosting was pretty bad and exactly like the REOLINK. I think the reason it looked good here was because this back yard had "some" ambient lights on around it from the home and the neighbors which helps eliminate the ghosting a lot. But the cool thing is you don't like it then this camera has the option to go back to traditional IR mode and it looks darn good in this video.

Hi Life Hackster , I am just starting to look for a home security system . I am looking for about 6 cameras and a doorbell with no subscription . You have so many videos and options . I am a little over whelmed . Can you recommend some brands and some of your videos that I should watch . Me and my sons will be installing and setting up ourselves . Thank you for your time and everything you do .

You can look at Eufy, Reolink and Tapo brands.

Hey!! Can I record 24/7 with this one? Or I need the wired one?
@LifeHackster4 ай бұрын
Yes. You do have to plug in power using the USBC port. I have not checked or tested this feature yet.

@@LifeHackster will be great to do the test!!! I like the new cam, but if I don’t have the option to record 24/7 I think I need to buy the old ones…

Can you lower the resolution and increase fps? 15 is just too low

I have a EUFY cam and it works great. Yes, 30 FPS is nice but honestly 15FPS it is fine for a security camera. These recording are for security purposes and not a Disney movie.

Eufy have always been 15 FPS max.

i dont own any eufy products so......RTSP work on the camera? what about once its added to the homebase?
@LifeHackster4 ай бұрын
This model needs the Homebase 3 to function and the RTSP is through the homebase.
