I know all of us X-fans, including me, hate new characters because there are so many great existing unused characters out there. But I also understand every creator wants to leave a legacy with their own creation and I think they all deserve a chance to see if they can make a breakout character. For me, X-Factor is the only From the Ashes book where the new characters teased so far actually interest me. I have a feeling Granny Smite will be granted her wish by the end of the first arc and will be the death Mark Russell has teased.

That does not look interesting to me. The xmen have all these cool mutants their not using on a team ,like Thunderbird. Cannonbal, Colossus, no let put a old lady on the team, it's like Marvel wants these books to suck.
