Watching this vlog kinda late, but I love your reactions & comments. They always make me laugh. One of my fave things about this episode is actually the part where Schnauz tells our Scully about the howlers & points to the very spot where her tumor is later revealed to be. I still don't know whether that was done intentionally, but I remember it was something fandom def talked about back then.

You're back! 'Unruhe' is a GREAT episode. As always, Mulder is right about it being an X File but it's Scully that actually knows what is going on. She kicks ass, speaks german and wears glasses. Top notch FBI investigative skills on show from Agent DKS 😄 And Mulder runs fast, stares at photos and attacks an RV! LOL

I love you put it out there, I too work with media and a poop photo is a poop photo. Media can be adjusted to a degree but for the most part it's crap. I love these two characters. Scully figures out the stilts and the look on her face is priceless. The guy playing Schnauz appears to have natural nystagmus, very creepy. Really a great episode, I think it showcases the trust they are perfecting between themselves.

Uhhhhhhg, wonderful review, I love these ❤ Such a super creepy episode. I think it was a very subtle commentary on Scullys inner emotional state too...to me this is the season where she is really feeling the personal consequences of working with Mulder on the Xfiles and questioning her choices. Jerry sees this inner turmoil which is why he targets her

Watched it back in the '90s. One of my favorite episodes. A nice blending of supernatural and real-world. The man who played Gerry was oddly cast to play Angelo Ruggiero in the movie entitled Gotti. Worst Gotti movie out there. HBO nailed it!

Haha, I am a German native speaker and I have never heard anybody saying that they wanted to learn it! Made my day. I, as a writer/songwriter enjoy and love the vast possibilities of that language. But I love English, too, with a passion, and Turkish, and a little bit of French is not so bad either...

I enjoy the moments when they joke together, Scully jealous of other ladies that have mulder’s attention, Mulder being a dork, and Scully just being cute ^^. I love this series because of these two, the horror genre, the monsters of the weeks, and cigarette smoking man as the Big Bad

I don't think Gillian actually speaks German, or at least she didn't when they shot this. Or the German Scully took in college was quite rusty. Her pronunciation is really stiff. At least it's not as egregious as Mulder telling her in IWTB that "auf einer Wellenlange" means "eyes in the back of my head", which is completely wrong.

If you’re gonna learn German I just have to tell you it gets really fucked up. Once you get into sentence structure and tenses there are words you have to split in half for it to be correct. So German sentence structure can be a real pain in the ass.
