Unlike the adaptations where she is just a boring bland love interest, in the comics Sue is a badass and has one the best developments of all the members of the Fantastic Four, both in her powers as well in her character. If wasn't for the fact she first appear as member of the Fantastic Four instead of solo hero, I think she would be consider Marvel's equivalent of Wonder Woman, instead of others like Captain Marvel or Black Widow.

Mileena is a better Sindel. She formed an alliance with a love interest and a betrayer, working together to achieve power. She was killed off for what she believed and was passionate about. Her death made an impact on someone that truly cared for them (Tanya), and a group of people that believed in her. She actually "to a degree" loves her family (Either Shao Khan, Kitana, and Sindel herself). And (if you believe endings as Canon) she loves her daughter and will do anything to protect her.

He looks like the typical giant monster,but is,in reality,a tragic antihero.He is the ruler of his own home-world.He regularly puts his life on the line to protect those he cares about.He has also lost loved ones to evil monsters (In Kong's case,it was his parents,while in Sindel's case,it was her husband),and has since dedicated his entire life to fighting and protecting the inoccent from the same monsters that took them from him. King Dedede is a better Sindel. He's a character that often uses mouth-based attacks and he's a monarch of a place that is often in peril. He's often brainwashed (either dark magic or possession) by the main villain and used for their main plan, though he gets brought back to normal self by the younger character and helps out to defeat the main villain. He was even brainwashed by a powerful dictator with dark magic that had god-like powers and a follower that admired her and helped her with her plan in one game (and was shown being able to revive things). He's had a history of being a jerk, but that was non-canonical.

And I can understand, because as an aspiring writer, these types of retcon are the worst of the worst. Reminds me of how disappointed I was at Kabal being retconned into an asshole, even if an entertaining one, and the Stryker's plot just being thrown out the window. Also instead of introducing countless and countless new characters, make something with what you already have and redesign the 3D characters with potential! (So all of them basically. Yes I've even found some cool stuffs to do with Kira, Darius, Kobra and even Hsu Hao! I stand by these words!) MK's world is already so diverse and unique, why keep introducing stuff when you already have every cards in your hand to tell a fantastic story by just using what you've already created? Oh my god I haven't seen anyone talk about how misrepresented Kabal is in this game. It really annoys me how in Mk11 it acts like that whole thing with Kabal and Stryker in MK9 never happened. You could use the excuse that it's because of time travel and different points of time in the MK timeline, but if that's the case, what's stopping them from showing the good Kabal, and maybe even Erron Black, since his version that aids Outworld isn't shown as much as his younger version. I guess another argument is that we'd just have two bad Kabals (the Black Dragon version and the Revenant version) and one good Kabal, but that could also be fixed by just focusing on the good Kabal and the revenant Kabal. The Black Dragon Kabal isn't shown much in the story mode, so nothing much would be lost if we excluded that version. (you can have that version of Kabal if you do a mirror match with human Kabal, so people who are a fan of that Kabal could still have a bit of him). Also quoting something that SonicHaXD said once "What would be the point of brainwashing a villain to do bad things if they're already doing that?", it shows that it would be pointless to brainwash Kabal if he was already a bad guy, so why not just have the good Kabal and the Revenant Kabal just be the bad version? I'm sorry if I've rambled on for so long, but I really like Kabal, so how they handled Kabal in MK11 really urks me just as much as how they handled Sindel. Cynder from "The Legend of Spyro" is a better Sindel. She was used by a malicious dragon for his gain and has long since been under a dark influence. Her enemy manages to free her, and she expresses regrets. Their destinies entwine (or the plot dictates) as both she and the protagonist get captured. She then gets captured again, by someone working for the same villain to have corrupted her. So, it's also up to the protagonist to free her. She later fights alongside the protagonist in a journey to fight the evil ruler, as they were meant to. Among her obtained powers is a sonic scream. Before the fight truly begins, he attempts to corrupt her again, only to be brought to her senses. She and the protagonist defeat their enemy together.

He later regains his senses and fights alongside a blue ally to save the day. A later installment then destroys his character both in universe in an optional route were he destroys the world and outside with everyone now seeing him as a gun wielding edge lord.

I still just can't fathom why NRS does this with characters, completely warps them to the point where they are the exact opposite of their original selves. If Scorpion wasn't so popular, you just know they'd make it to where he actually killed his family and was like a Lin-Kuei plant or something. I don't see why they bother with story modes and interactions to give these characters so much story and potential if they are just going to throw it away in the next game. They seem to be setting up that Liu-Kang has a connection to Onaga, how much do you want to bet they forget that like they forget the new Mortal Kombat tournament Outworld had to protect itself against Dark Raiden? Honestly I think MKX was the one time they had the potential to be interesting and they fucked it up. MK9 was just retreading the original games but had 'big changes', the biggest just being most of the good guys turning bad and Sub-Zero being the cyborg except not really. MKX had the new generation and we got more characterization from Sonya, Johnny and Jax and the Kombat Kids had potential to be really good and we had a good chance of doing something interesting with Dark Raiden and making the Outworld characters more interesting now that they have to defend their realm for once...and MK11 throws that away for more time travel and reboots and retcons. How many games will it take for them to reboot it again? Liu-Kang now is in control, what's stopping him from doing it every time the villain wins? No stakes, no good changes and just fucking up every character while making worthless new ones.

If any shit can go down, he’s just gonna do some time warping shit and make it to the point where it didn’t happen. And tbh, who can fuck up shang now? It's confirmed that every single ending from every single character in the Mortal Kombat universe except 11 are canon and happened in all the timelines Kronika did for example Sindel ending from Decepeion - MK9 are in fact canon and happened in multiple timelines so Sindel armageddon ending where she brings Jerrod back happen in another timeline.

I think they could fix it by explaining that Sindel did indeed have a curse placed on her all those millennia ago (meaning Shao Kahn was lying to Kitana about it), but it was so powerful that it could transcend death (twice) as well as the soul chamber purging of her revenant form. They could explain what happened in the original timeline to break that spell and what happened differently in the new timeline that didn't lead to it happening.

Characters like *Swinedel* has an outside more putrid than what she thinks of Spawn's sulphuric odor, which not only is hypocrisy at its finest, but her inside ugliness drags her outside beauty down into the abyss, making her a walking dumpster fire of a character, no matter how *BEEUTEEFALL* she looks. No one with a functional brain will take her beauty seriously, as it's obvious that she is nothing more than a wolf in sheep's clothing, and understand that her beauty is such a total waste, and that it is a complete trap to capture the foolish. No matter what number a character's outside beauty level is, if it's inside beauty multiplies it by zero, the character gets zero, and that's exactly what happened with Swinedel, and why she is so hated. By the end of it, MK11 was just a product of NRS bowing down to the 'Muh SJW' 'Muh Representation' 'Muh Woke' or 'Muh whatever' crowd. Twindel is the result. I dunno, ever since around that time, Western media in general like to bow to that one crowd. So yeah, NRS dropped the bomb. I wouldn't be surprised when Sindel appear in that new movie continuity, they will see Twindel as 'How not to do Sindel' and takes cues not from the MK11 version. (It said something that the movie!Sub-Zero deviated a lot from Sub-Zero/Bi-Han, but somehow they made it work better than in paper. Granted, it's just my opinion, but I wasn't as mad as I was with Twindel.)
