Thank you for uploading!!! I heard they had so much technical issues..... Still I think they did great job! and I think people forget that they are already over 50 year olds... Still the best band ever and unique!

Yes ma'am. they are truly unique in every way. Supreme talent and charisma that I haven't seen in American bands. From what I've seen they put their heart and soul into what they do.

It's 100% OK for me. Very far from an "Axl Rose disaster".
I watched this live and it was absolutely amazing. They shredded. This is only 12 minutes of a long set.

Yoshiki has just been recovering from his neck surgery which is very hard problem for the band,I think this is the best thing he can do now.What so importance about new album,as long as he can motivate his band to show as a concert whatever song he plays is still immortant.
@DoodlesGaming6 жыл бұрын
the importance of the new album is that, as an artist, we live to play and write music and it's their first album since 1996 so I'm guessing it's important for him

Neck surgery, wrist surgery, spinal surgery, losing his friends and his father, Yoshiki is a very amazing man to still be banging the drums, playing piano and being a businessman at his age.

If X JAPAN lacked the powerful tone of TOSHI. YOSHIKI'S song is not perfect. Each key of the note & word of the lyrics was created is made of spirit. Have a relaxed melodies and delicate in slow & fast song. All members of the band highly capable. Hard to find someone to replace it. YOSHIKI decided to break the band in 1997 .when there is no TOSHI . " That right"
I love this. the last thing I knew about these guys was the farewell concert and the closing with Endless Rain, which even though I could only understand the english parts, touched me deeply. I also used to listen to Tetsu's solo stuff a little bit, like White Out.

Seeing Toshi drinking water and resting during the solo, instead of headbanging with Yoshiki is kind of a bummer.
I think it's kind of crazy that X is hailed as THE metal band in Japan, but not really considered as a part of the global power/speed metal scene. Yes they played Coachella, and Lollapalooza, Madison Square Garden, and have an American documentary made of them. They're definitely trying to break into the American market by reintroducing themselves as rock stars from an unknown world, not as a metal band. I feel like their American and global to be fans of Japanese music or Japanese culture, not fans of power or speed metal. I don't know... in a way, I feel like that branding is a bit tragic, because music listeners can't see past their foreign-ness. But at the same time, metal is very much a subculture in America, the rock stars these days don't do metal, they do hip-hop or pop. Also X Japan's style of metal is from three decades ago. Why would the biggest band in Japan go out of their way to step down from their high status just to be a part of subculture? They're already too old and too successful.
@ronnyc87225 жыл бұрын
They need to translate their vocals into English, to ever be successful in america.
