Psylocke's attack movements are the same as Chakan's. Maybe they used the same engine and models, just changed the sprites.

OMG! That intro with Cerebro. XD 3:18, true cyberpunk energy here. 10:50, talk about visually impressive! 12:28, one of the most out of place level styles ever. As Wolverine stands triumphant against the Mastodon of EVIL!!

This is so cool, thank you for uploading. I had seen a picture of the Savage Land boss creature and was wondering why that wasn't in the final game. Probably a little too close to a xenomorph. I always say that the Giger alien is the most influential motif in video game history. It's hard to find a game without some kind of xenomorph looking creature. Speaking of which, this version of the Phalanx/Brood Queen looks terrifyingly great! She's much scarier with the dark purple hue and less armored skeletal look. She has a more wasp-like design.

Surprisingly, almost all levels look better than their final versions. They are simply more alive and have more detail. And yes, it's a shame that Mister Sinister was cut.

Supposedly these were in the Sega Channel version. Funny i had the Sega Channel and i dont remember any of these stages.

These are levels from early prototypes, they were removed for some reason. By the way, if you once had the Sega Channel. Several exclusives were released on it: 1. Flintstones(Osean) 2. Environmental Detective 3. Garfield: Lost Levels 4. The Chessmaster These games are now lost forever, due to the fact that they did not have a physical release on cartridges.

@@VideoGameShadows I guess we got really lucky that Mr. Nutz ended up getting a PAL release on cartridge to be eventually shared with the world. In the USA that was a Sega Channel exclusive also by Ocean. I'm also guessing the Sega Channel version of The Chessmaster probably would have been nearly identical to the SNES version of the game apart from sound and color differences.

When I had a sega Genesis as a kid, this was one of my favorite games to play. I remember that even though I could get to the end, I was never able to beat the final boss.
