X-Men ‘97 episode 5 (Remember It) Reaction

Yeah. Many of us had to take a few days to process what happened. The council was made up of Emma and Sebastian Shaw, members of a snobby elite mutant club known as the Inner Circle in the show. They tried to “recruit” (control) Jean/Phoenix for their group, but ended up unleashing the Dark Phoenix instead. Callisto was the leader of the Morlocks. Moira Mctaggert was the human geneticist, a friend of the X-men and an ex-girlfriend of Charles, and appeared in the First Class and Apocalypse live action movies. Banshee was Moira’s fiancé, possibly husband who also fought alongside the X-men during the Phoenix saga.
