I love that Magneto's last words to Leech were in German. "Do not be afraid" was almost certainty something said to him as a child in the Holocaust, and Magneto went out trying to keep a promise to a scared child. That's really the core of his character.

One of the best episodes of animated television that I’ve seen in the last two decades, and there has been some amazing animation from around the world in that time. Thank you for allowing me to relieve the the shock of this episode with you.

The fact that the visuals for the genosha “attacks” was based on found footage of 9/11 and Orlando shoetings really invokes the claustrophobic sense of dread, panic and fear. It felt so hopeless yet the instinct to survive is on full alert with hope.

Also Beau DeMayo used to party at the Pulse nightclub, and lost friends in the attack, so the grief and such everyone goes through over it is based on him and his friends reactions to that attack

This episode was absolutely incredible. It's easily the best Marvel content in decades, if not ever. It was emotionally charged, tragic, and beautiful.

Cable remembers Maddie because of the telepathic message she gave him before she sent him away. also cable is himself a telepath like him mother. so that helps. some have already said that he states not again as in he has tried to prevent that tragedy already. she was seemingly caught in the first blast that we see from the Wild Sentinel, which seems extremely lethal. if this is similar to the comic it manages to wipe out 16 MILLION people in minutes. and while there are some who could probably do something to help most are not trained to fight and are unable to rally from the surprise of the attack.
