The collar making mutants feel pain was a function that the anti mutant guys wanted and decided to implement, just remove that part and you're good, even if we argue that it was not intended (which I highly doubt) it would take more time but nothing more. Plus the one that comic beast made was WAY more advanced than what we are talking about here, no fancy stuff, just enough that Gambit and Rouge can touch each other. I get that it might take time, but she should've waited and tried instead of choosing another guy.

​@@xdarkwolf2255the pain part was intentionally developed by the anti mutant people. Beast could just make it without it. Or make it a bracelet or ring. It doesn't need to be a collar. And think of it. Rogue can't touch anybody fr. Her putting on a collar allowing her to touch anybody is a benefit as its more than 0. And they're love is more than just physical. Her relationship with almost anyone would require the power blocking. That's not a gambit exclusive thing. And just asking beast should get it all sorted out.

@@BLITTLE707 If the pain part was an intentional side effect then I'm pretty sure the one beast makes in the comic wouldn't have that effect but it still does Also you make it sound like the collars do a minor pain. Beast has said in the comics to take a crap ton of pain killers you can to reduce the pain. On top of that, it's a collar used by people who oppress mutants and rogue might have some trauma tied to that So I understand if made an offer to be with a guy who she at least seems to like and she doesn't have to wear that crap, then I can understand that choice

@xdarkwolf2255 Beast in comics has literally made it before with minimum effort and not a large amount of time. Multiple times. And his was advanced on top of not having pain. So let's say in this scenario he made one that was essentially the same but just didn't have pain. That simple. Takes like no time or difficulties. I'm not saying the pain isn't an issue with the usual devices. I'm saying that even if pain was somehow, for some reason, an unintentional part of the usual devices and technology just had that as a side effect. When Beast makes his, it won't have that. He'd just advance it to the point that it doesn't have that. And that's on the off chance it's not an intentional thing. So let's drop the pain card. That won't be applicable as there won't be any pain. And yea, you're right about the collar, perhaps not being perferred. The collar's perhaps traumatic. So Beast could simply make it as a bracelet or a ring or an injection. They have made things like that in comics before on multiple occasions.. So let's look at the cons. Pain? That either wouldn't be an issue from the get go or Beast taking a lil extra time makes it so it's not an issue. Collar trauma. It's a ring, bracelet, necklace, or whatever she wants. It could even be an injection. There are no reasons why she couldn't touch him and be with him unless she just didn't want to. And I'm not saying she has to be with him or has to do any of this. Just back to what the gambit said. She's on that bullshit to say the reason why she can't is that she can't touch him. She can touch him if she wants to. She can be with him if she wants to. If she doesn't want to, then she doesn't need to. Their relationship has always been more than physical relations anyways. But if she doesn't like him like that or wants to be with someone else or is with someone else, she can't be saying no bullshit reasons like "oh I couldn't touch you" or anything. I can also understand her choice to be with someone else who she likes better. But let's understand it's that she likes the other person better. Her excuse can't be "we can't touch" as that's a lie. If she wanted to, they could. The method they use could even be as customizable as she wants. I make the pain of the collars sound like a easy fix because they are. I make this whole no touching thing seem to have a simple solution because there is. Whenever they try to tackle the whole no touching thing as "just make a device that fixes things," the device is easily made. No pain.
