I feel like people only became a fan of Gambit because of the new Deadpool movie. I keep seeing comments talking about how his death in '97 doesnt make sense or that it was unnecessary or that he's a mistreated character by Disney/Marvel, which means many people don't know his true back story and arc in the comics and animated series

@IvanIsYda_ I believe Channing Tatum sticks around up until Secret Wars. After that, we are going to get a younger and more serious version of the character. I agree with you. Gambit is not a comedic relief character. He is a badass and deserves to be portrayed as such. Channing Tatum is too old already. They will likely want someone who can play the character for the next 20 years if need be. Plus he looks nothing like Gambit. Excited about Deathbit.

I honestly watched one or two episodes and was like next ! They did Gambit dirty. Plus honestly the new Rogue sounds like a cigarette smoker. The original Rogue was Southern Creole, mixed ancestry so the voice use to go perfect. Correct me if I’m wrong but does the new Rogue look less Ambigous now ?

I refuse to watch X-Men 97 for the following reasons Number one that mess with Madeline Pryor Scott Summers and Jean Gray. I know that's what happened in the comics but I don't think it was delivered properly Number two the death of Gambit Number three magneto and rogues relationship. I get the fact that Rogue has got to be in her late 20s early 30s but magneto is 70 years old something like that turns my stomach something like that turns my stomach
