All the 90s animated series were connected, thats what made it so awesome. The Secret Wars plot of Spider-Man season 5 is one of my favorites. it had everyone together. Dr Doom, F4, Capt America, iron Man, Storm, Xmen, Hulk. Etc I Think Spider-Man had the most crossovers, The Punisher episodes were great too. The Silver Surfer single season is definitely worth watching for anyone that never saw it. It revolves around a much different version of Thanos than we got in MCU. Still good tho.

As an 80s/90s kid, the X-Men and Spider-Man theme songs were among the best out there. The original early 90s Batman cartoon theme is classic as well!

Concerning music, modern shows just don’t match up to what we had in the past. Almost every show of my first 20 years had a recognizable and memorable soundtrack. For context, I was born in the early 80s. This goes from campy 80s sitcoms and Sat morning cartoons, to more adult fare like Law & Order. Modern shows just don’t do it for me. Sure, there are some recognizable themes, but it’s no where near the same amount as there was 30 years ago.

When I and my siblings were young we became like crazy when the Spider-Man intro kicked in. Jumping around in the sofa and shot web everywhere in spiderman poses and also singing with the intro. If they do a revival with the original intro I warn you guys already what is going to happen then.

Bro Spider-Man and X-Men r my favorite marvel properties and I loved when the crossover both animated series and ofc Venom plus I loved this show including all the twists and turns with all my favorite characters from the X-Men but also wouldn’t mind a Daredevil animated series plus the animation from Marvel lookin really clean and I can’t wait for more Marvel Animated Universe. There was an article in Comics Scene regarding the then-currently airing Spider-Man: TAS where head writer John Semper, Jr. stated that Secret Wars would never be adapted due to there being too many characters. Fast forward 4 years or so, we get a watered-down adaptation. I wouldn't mind a straight-to-video version adapted properly.

I watched the original 90s Spiderman and i loved it back then, even though I was probably too old to be watching it (I'm 45, do the maths). Rewatched it a couple of times on Disney+. Its aged but is still good. Will love it if they bring it back and hopefully Spectator Spiderman later on as well. Hoping to see a ton of cameos in X-Men 97 as well.

Original X-Men series, Spidey did a non-seen cameo in a PHOENIX SAGA episode. X-Men made a cameo appearance in a FANTASTIC FOUR (1996 version). They were in civilian clothes, sightseeing and even had Juggernaut climbing up the bridge and had a SCARLET SPIDER appearance as well, while FF were fighting the Hulk and Dr. Doom.

I love the implication though. I mean, the newspaper article being written by Eddie Brock, with photos by Peter Parker. It means that not only did Madame Web and Spider-Man find Mary Jane, but they also picked up Eddie Brock along the way, brought both of them back home, Eddie and Peter buried the hatched, Eddie somehow got his job at the Daily Bugle back,, and he and Peter do news reports together. Or, of course, that could be an old ass news paper from before Eddie became Venom and he still worked at the Bugle, but I like the idea of it being after more. Seriously, imagine a buddy-cop Spider-Man and Venom cartoon where they do investigations together and then write it for the news.

I also wanted to add that the toy sales for the X-Men 97 Hasbro line has been really good through the 1st two waves. Rogue is basically impossible to find unless you pay 3x- 4x through the secondary market. Wolverine and Goblin Queen are very hard. Nightcrawler is selling extremely well, as well as Magneto in his original costume, Gambit and Cyclops.

I'd wish for The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes to come back, but the 90's avengers is The Avengers: United They Stand which only had one season.

According to Marvel Studios animation head Brad Winderbaum, DeMayo wasn’t fired due to any conflict, but “parted ways” with Disney and the project. He did reiterate that DeMayo had “real respect and passion” for the X-Men. We’ll see how well that passion for these characters shines through in season two.

I just binged the entire X-Men and Spider Man animated series last fall and they are so good. I missed them during there initial runs because I worked on Saturdays but thankfully Disney + has them. Spidey is very good and had very cool featured characters and stories with Blade & Whistler, Punisher, DD, Felecia Hardy, Spidey’s villains, fleshed out Bugle characters, Madame Web, and like Charlie mentioned the SW arc was very good. Seeing the FF, X-Men, Iron Man, Cap/Red Skull was great. Morbius was done well unlike the Sony live version. The writers also did a good job of featuring Fisk as a Spidey villain. Seeing a Spidey revival series continuation with a married Pete and MJ has a lot of interesting possibilities.

What I'd like to see? The Franklin Richards saga "Days of Future Present". Ironically, that was the first appearance of Gambit in the original comics. In faaaaact....... what about THAT is the event that ends up resetting the timeline? They could tie it to the dystopian future the Genosha massacre will probably create.
