i have to say the 97 xmen new episodes are hitting. expanding on the story, deep writing, fantastic retro visuals, classic and new voices. I think we have our favorite show back. In my opinion.

Definitely the original. The original show was such a great watch on Saturday Morning Fox Kids back in the early 90s.

Original still gives me goosebumps. I'm still going to watch '97 and expect to not like it. I also noticed the biggest changes in the animation are all longer than the closer ones. Jean Grey, Rogue and Gambit are almost glanced over compared to Morph, Jubilee, and Bishop.

Old school hits harder, 97 is abit more muted. 97 just doesn't bring the phunk.

I do like them both and 97 has done justice and keeps up with my age and interest and good for kids new to it as well that maybe never seen OG . I do miss the original sound of when the "X" hits the water close to the start of song. The new version did a away with that ! Small detail but still loved it lol

I am not sure if it's the recording of the volume, but the original fills like it has higher highs, and lower lows. I am not an audiophile, but I think if you search up "volume wars" you will find that quality if being lost in music for the sake of compression.
