In the original Marvel comics, the X-Men exist right alongside all of the other Marvel super-heroes. It's just that when Marvel comics began selling off the movie rights, Fox purchased the X-Men (and the Fantastic Four while Sony got Spider-Man). But the X-Men's roots in the world of Marvel super-hero comics go right back almost to the beginning. Here's a fun fact: X-Men issue 1 and Avengers issue 1 were both published in the same month, with a cover date of September 1963. Imagine being a kid at the news stand that month and picking up a copy of both!

Plus as Rob pointed out, he was young and watched here and there. I could see where a young mind could get lost especially tuning in to the middle of a story. Plus when Gambit shows up in the movies he'll probably be less disappointing 😂 🤣 😂

40,000 years ago hominids started marking symbols. Today, 2,000 generations or so later, we aren't capable of seeing a word we know without reading the letters, recognizing the word, and understanding the meaning in context. That's the speed of evolution.

Lol it's sometimes frustrating to watch comic things with you guys because you ask such good questions and I want to answer them all for you or quide you. Wolverines skeleton makes no never mind on his abilitys it enhances him. He's true mutation is his healing factor (this is what was given to Deadpool) his strength and his almost anmial like nature, like His sence of smell. His claws are his, just enhanced again due to his "upgrade" you'll see in later movies. The only thing that they didn't get good for him in the movie is Jackman is perfect for the role, just too tall. He's a shorter stocky guy in the comics.

7:07 All evolution is mutation Not all mutation is evolution ;) Stone mutations give you a different color eye, others give you a clump foot or make you die in the womb. (most of the time these are not genetically dominant and therefore don't spread to the rest of the human race by procreation) But your chocking /puke reflex is quite a new mutation that we can see as evolution, because it's also spreading to the newer generations and people without a puke/choke reflex are now the minority. But because we don't have survival of the fittest anymore and the dumbest people on the planet are procreating more than the actual smart people, means our evolutionary graph is flattening out and may even go down... (think "idiocracy")

Evolution is driven by mutation. Our dna mutates every time it replicates. accidental changes in the code, most changes don’t really matter but every now and then they result in a trait that be either good or bad, good mutation are naturally selected if they benefit the species and if organism arises with distinct enough changes from the ancestor it can be categorized as a new species

@@davidbergfors6820 In the comics" During one of his experiments to fuse vibranium with an experimental steel alloy,[6] MacLain falls asleep and awakens to find that the resulting alloy had been set in a tank hatch mold. However, he was not able to duplicate it, because as MacLain described it, "some unknown factor" was present during the experiment that he could not identify. The shield was then painted to become Captain America's weapon and symbol. MacLain would later attempt to recreate the shield's metal to no avail, his experiments instead eventually yielding the super-metal adamantium.[7][8] While adamantium has been portrayed as practically indestructable,[9] MacLain said was "no match" for the mysterious Proto-Adamantium shield.[7] Rogers' shield is more durable than regular adamantium and is essentially indestructible. The vibranium grants the shield unusual properties, allowing it to absorb all of the kinetic impact and vibrations from any blows that the shield receives without injuring Rogers in the process." In movies, the shield is solely Vibranium.

With the X-Men coming to the MCU I'm hoping for to two comic movies get made. The first I would like a Huik vs Wolverine live-action since Wolverine's 1st appearance in comics was in a Hulk comic, the 2nd I would like to see a Wolverine & Captain America live action I remember an animated X-men Evolution episode about them meeting in WW2 and saving a young Magneto That could probably be a good movie.

Unfortunately there is no way that either of those would happen. The Wolverine & Captain America is a very big maybe. The Wovlerine vs Hulk one is never happening. Universal is NEVER letting go of those movie rights, even if they don't do jack with it. It's just the unfortunate reality at this point.

Very subjective, and an opinion I personally disagree with, but to each their own of course, lol
