X-Men: Children of the Atom - Wolverine Playthrough

Wolverine has the grand honor of being the longest-running playable character in the entirety of Capcom's Marvel fighters. As he first appeared in this game and managed to stay in ALL the way up to Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, the most recent game.
It comes with the publicity of being THE most popular X-Man, and one of the most famous Marvel superheroes of all time.
Since I'm more veteranized with Wolverine's Marvel Super Heroes version, it's weird for me to use him here. His special moves here are just his Drill Claw and Tornado Claw, while his Berserker Barrage is his Super/X-Combo instead of another special.
I've noticed while fighting Juggernaut that Wolverine can air dash after hitting in midair. This is a good way for him to back off from his opponent should the opponent block his attack. I don't know why Juggernaut would just leave himself open and taunt.
In his ending, Wolverine wants Magneto to escape with him and the other X-Men from the collapsing Avalon. Magneto wants him to stay with him and his Brotherhood.
Obviously, Wolverine just escapes with the other X-Men instead, realizing how stubborn Magneto is.
Back on earth, in the Danger Room, Logan(Wolverine) and Scott(Cyclops) meet back up with Jean Grey. It was a bit of a reunion between her and Cyclops because of him going into space and all.
There were also some gifts and flowers for them, which Wolverine quickly destroyed, getting tired of the romance around him. He decides to take a vacation.
Said vacation involves finding and quickly defeating Silver Samurai. Logan's next trip is to Madripoor!

That last round against Magneto was hilarious. Magneto outright _refusing_ to get the fuck back down from his flying mode with Wolverine jumping up at him like a dog trying to get a cat up in a tree, and then finally getting comboed so hard by the pissed off Wolverine he got dizzy. This game had some priceless moments at times.

The Doom I was 11 when this came out and I fell in love with it instantly. Magneto was and is one of my favourite Marvel characters and this is his most powerful playable incarnation in any video game. His stage Avalon is a multi-layered masterpiece of design.

If we play this in manual mode, we can make wolverine heal himself during battles - and that's is one of his special powerup skills. Also, omega red who can drain opponent's hp. If you are good psylocke user, you can easily counter any opponent's grab - with a damaging kick.

stupaod This game was released on both the Sony PlayStation and the Sega Saturn back in 1996. From what I understand, the Saturn port is more or less identical to the original arcade, right down to Magneto being break-the-controller hard. If you're a retro gamer, I recommend getting a Saturn and this game. If not, the emulated arcade version on MAME is really good and free to play. Google "ROM-World."

James Kelvin the sega saturn version is the best version. ps1 version is missing frames of animation, and has some slowdown.
