It’s odd because I really love the original -Men team but I don’t love X-Factor either. I think it’s just the writer. It’s tough to compare with Chris Claremont. I was struggling though this book during the X-Factor issues but as soon as I got into the X-Men issues with got really immersed into the series. I do really like Apocalypse as a villain and the conflict Angel goes they in losing his wings and dealing with the betrayal by his friend Cameron Hodge was a great concept. I also love the conflict Cyclops and Jean are dealing with. But the execution just didn’t pull me in. Still, great book. The X-Men and New Mutants issues are amazing. Top notch comics.

Yeah I just always struggle with getting into the series any time I've read any X-Factor. Definitely weaker than Uncanny and New Mutants from this time

Another great review! I"m a bit torn on picking this up just because I believe all these stories will be part of their individual comics omnnibuses. But to have the complete story now would be great! What would you recommend, o wise comics guru?

Hmm comics guru...is it too late to change the name of the channel? 😅 Seriously, thanks for watching! I'd have to recommend going with this and the other event omnibuses to get all the material if you're interested, mostly because I'm not even sure if Marvel will print individual omnibus volumes that double dip entirely with this material...but then if you got these and they do release those omnis and you would prefer those volumes, you'd always have the option of then selling these to buy those
