Someone tell Andrew and Tara to watch THE ROGUE CUT of Days Of Future Past instead of the theatrical version. It's the superior cut of the film, certain scenes make way more sense in that version, and it becomes the final appearance of Anna Paquin in the series.

Going to have to also watch the Loki series, the Blade movies as well as the Daredevil and Elektra movie to have a proper reaction to Deadpool & Wolverine. You can pretend otherwise, but short cuts make for bad reactions that fall flat when people don't understand the gravity or history of the cameo.

At first, i didn't think anyone could play Professor X and Magneto better than Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. Then, came this movie with James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender as the younger version of those characters and wow they truly knocked it outta the park. I appreciate that McAvoy and Fassbender managed to make the role of their own instead of trying too hard to imitate their predecessors

Fool, sorry but it's like Fans saying Hugh Jackman is great playing Wolverine nobody can do better, how do you know as say (Nope I don't think so) because he's the only one that has ever played him, nobody can tell who's going to be great at playing someone until they star as them. X-Men First Class is wrong in so many ways, it's actually worse than "Madame Web" which I heard was really Bad, never seen Not a fan. First Class X-men were Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Angel, and Iceman which were X-Factor Team characters first Not this mess of Characters that are in this movie another reason why this movie Suxs. I'm a Huge Fan of X-Factor and X-Men as well as X-Force but this movie franchise is super lazy with directors that have No clue on who is who and when and why they are. You can say it's just a movie it's for Entertainment True but that's like saying Oppenheimer 2023 is just a Movie as well Not true! as everything written in a book is just a pure imagination. You either follow it or steer off of the road as X-men movies are never even on the road ever reasons why they sux and are being remade.

Fun fact...originally the plan was for two origins movies. First a magneto origin and then a wolverine. Wolverine got developed faster in order to keep hugh jackman. Which gave them time to restructure the magneto movie. Once mathew vaughn got involved, he developed the first class storyline and it became a magneto origin as well as an x men origin

That isn’t quite true when Ashley Edwards Miller and Zack Stentz were hired to rewrite the script and did it in 2 weeks. The majority of the movie is their work which is why they get writing credits. Then Matthew Vaughn rewrote that script with Jane Goldman and added some things while cutting other stuff out like Sunspot and the Charles, Erik, and Moira love triangle.

9:19 Kayla Silverfox's sister Emma in X-Men Origins: Wolverine has been confirmed by its series producer to be a different character as Emma Frost. Probably initially intended to be Emma Frost (initial promotional material advertised her as Emma Frost), this would have resulted in a continuity error having a presumably younger Emma Frost at a later stage in life. Because of this, the Emma in X-Men Origins: Wolverine is presumably retconned as Emma Silverfox, Kayla Silverfox's sister (this does not cause any continuity error as Emma was never referred to as "Frost" in the entire film, although promotional material for the film did so).

16:50 - SR-71 Blackbird. America's spyplane. Intercepted by a Swedish plane, a Viggen that got a lockon it. But also, in another instance, a Viggen that saved a Blackbird. The more you know!

One of the best CBMs ever. Michael Fassbender should be Magneto in the MCU. He was fucking incredible. He needs a major villian role.

I wonder how much older Alex is to his brother Scott since Xavier is young with Alex and old with Scott. Anyway I love the ending. How they introduced Magneto in the end was too perfect.

Although I don’t think this is the best Fox Marvel movie, this is without a doubt the best X-Men movie, it balances, lightheadedness, drama, and dark moments so well. I really wish Matthew Vaughn continued with X-Men

I love this movie, it's such a great origin of not only Erik and Charles, but the X-Men themselves. I've never understood why people got so mad about Darwin dying when it made perfect sense. I love that the story was centered around the Cuban Missile Crisis even though I've never fully understood the event itself. Magneto's outfit at the end is BADASS and looks just like the comics! Why the hell was it never used past that one scene?!

No disrespect but Tara being so nonchalant and emotionless for the most part until Charles gets paralyzed is hilarious

He's an unknown character, it shouldn't have mattered if he lived or died. He clearly can't adapt to everything and can in fact be killed.

@@passionsquietrage they easily could have written him out of other movies. His powers are very op in the comics. His drawback is that he can't control or predict how his powers keep him alive.

@@Southern_Father Then maybe his powers kept him alive and we just didn't need to know that. Just because he's like that in the comics doesn't mean he has to be in the movie.

I remember seeing this in the theater and I have a soft spot for X-men 2 but this movie was the moment I said they did it! It’s my favorite! This is also when I fell in love with James mcavoy and then fully in love with Michael fassbender. Both beautiful men and amazing actors!

I can't believe you recognized every Background Actor but you didn't recognize Brendan Fehr (of Roswell fame) on the US side of the Cuban Missile Crisis scenes.

Finally Xmen first class easily one of the best movies James and Micheal are perfect as Charles and Erik i love their conversation outside of the CIA building when Charles tells Erik "here you have a chance to be a part of something much bigger than yourself"and the scene when Charles helps him to truly unlock his potential between rage and serenity "Theres so much more to you than you know not just pain and anger theres good too ive felt it and when you can access all of that you'll possess a power no one can match not even me"it those scenes get me everytime 😭and off course an awesome and perfect cameo from our boy Wolverine 😂

MOVIE TRIVIA about the locations: When Magneto goes to Argentina, to "Villa Gesel", he is in a quaint with a lake in the middle of the mountains... which has nothing to do with the actual town 😂. Villa Gesel is a coastal city, a little beach town far away from where the scene was shot, and completely different to what they show.

Canonically Mystique is over 100 years old. Canonically, Azazel is no longer Nightcrawlers' father. According to the person that made that decision, it was decision that they had wanted to make all along but because of the time they couldn't.

Simply put, they did Darwin dirty. As for best power? Shapeshifting. At its peak, you can get Mystique's talent for blending in wherever you choose, Darwin's adaptability, and Wolverine's healing.

as an OG Xmen fan this movie was by far the best imo. in the comics Magneto crushes a Soviet sub and ends up killing everybody on board, the sub sinks. decades later he raises the sub and steals the nuclear warheads out of it to use as leverage. was interesting to see Magneto raise a sub in this movie. would really like to see a big screen adaptation of X-tinction Agenda. think it would be really relevant at this time.
