Disappointing to hear that we're rehashing "Kitty as headmistress" again. We've already been there where she has to take care of the young new mutants. Especially if we're getting the same storyline in NOLA with Rogue.

I'm tuning into this interview, and all I'm hearing is yet another mutant teardown narrative. It's like they're saying, "Oh, mutants had it too easy on Krakoa; let's make them suffer more." It's becoming repetitive. And seriously, they couldn't find a single writer who isn't Caucasian to pen an X-Men story? It's not just about diversity, but also about having writers who understand the mutant experience authentically. The whole interview seemed focused on stripping everything away from mutants and dividing them up.

Let me write a story for Bishop. I would run laps around your whole operation. They would think the writer from punisher or Blade had taken over. The captain commander of the entire mutant race has absolutely done nothing in the face of all this death. Cyclops said he was the best man for the job. We have an entirely new metal to make new weapons and armor, but they give it to Iron Man. He's not even mutant, but not Bishop smfh. He's the captain commander and the red Bishop. But he's not smart enough to smuggle out a secret stash of new metal to kick a** with. We will give Wolverine the secret bunker that only he could access with a weapon stash. We just recently did something like that with Cable and Bishop. You guys remember the books where we had Bishop. Sleeping underneath bridges like a broke hobo. Yes, the same Bishop that was kicking cable's a** and running laps around Cyclops back-and-forth through the future while trying to kill hope. The same Bishop that has more gadgets than Batman. Remember the power dampening handcuffs. He put on Colossus in his intro? How about the Booby trap power drainer that he put on skids in Extreme X-Men? The reality is we need some black writers in marvel because these writers suck.
