The neon green may be my favorite part lmao I’ve never actually had a chance to flip through the pages on this so thanks bud! Always been on my radar but honestly not in any rush to add it to the X collection.

Yeah that green is striking huh 😂👏 It’s such a beautiful edition but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit disappointed with the content itself. There were a couple really great issues in here but maybe not an essential collection 🤔

Yeah there’s a handful of different artists because this book has tie ins from several titles. Nick D. Definitely has some nice work 👏 The art in this collection is really a highlight of the volume Have you read House of X / Powers of X?

Bought this but not read it yet. Love the review (probably except the very last page spoiler, despite the warnings!!). Really objective and whilst I know you were a bit lukewarm, on balance I still think the art and extras may make it worthwhile when I eventually get round to reading it. Apologies for the spoiler (tried to warn 😖 ha) Yeah overall still happy I read it. It’s an interesting moment in time for the x-books and there were still a small handful of issues in the collection I really enjoyed. The edition/format of the volume along with the extras, plus some pretty incredible art made it worth a pick up 👏 Thanks for watching :) If/when you give it a read yourself I’d definitely be interested to hear your thoughts :) I haven’t spoken to many who have read this so unclear if I’m in a minority as far as how I felt about the collection ha

@@garyfoster65 that was me last year. I got back into comics earlier last year and I still feel like I’m catching up 😂👏 If you don’t mind me asking: What are some of your favorite comics?

@@TheComicBookReport nothing remarkable I’m afraid. Grew up reading at the time of original Dark Phoenix and Days of FP, Miller’s DD run and Simonsen on Thor so big on XMen, ASM, Avengers and DD so am catching up on more up to date runs and variants of those titles. Am enjoying the Ultimate lines which I know divide people. Really enjoying the catching up as well as seeing the old stuff reprinted. Beyond Marvel really enjoyed Moore’s Swamp Thing, original Dark Knight, Nexus, American Flagg, Nathaniel Dusk and have a real soft spot for Legion of Superheroes. There’s so much to catch up on

@@forsakenV12 I’d say if you’re on the fence that would be the way I’d recommend. I think this edition is overpriced for what you get personally. And if you like the digital you can always double dip with physical 😉 To each their own ha

@@forsakenV12 this year I shifted my collection mentality from stockpiling it all to if I don’t love it I evaluate selling-out with the old in with the new. It’s been really great for me, has allowed me to pick up more books I’ve really wanted to read and made my collection more specified and frankly it now takes up less space (yay) To each their own, and cheers on your ventures in that arena Friend! 💪📚
