Brendan Fry the reading order goes HOUSE OF X then POWERS OF X for the first two issues. then it’s POWERS OF X#3 then HOUSE OF X # 3&4, the latest book is POWERS OF X #4. From there it’s back to the back-and-fort order

My theory is that Xavier has been cloning the X-Men ever since he began the X-Men and that the original X-Men has died years ago. This cloning technique explains as to why the X-Men behaves erratically. Ex. Scott leaving Maddie Pryor and his son, Emma Frost switching alliances, Jean keeps on reviving, Iceman dating women then being revealed as gay later on, etc. That or the X-Men depicted in issue 3 are disposable clones of the original X-Men, while they chill in Krakoa.
