Hollywood did him so dirty in the X-Men movies!! He was such a great choice to play Cyclops, but they never gave him his moment to shine. They spent all their time focusing on Wolverine just because he was the fan favorite.

If they bring him back, he better b in his 1st uniform. I’d liked the uniforms from the 1st instead of the 2nd. Rouge and Iceman’s were barely seen in the end. The details embedded.

He seems happy enough to do bits about it when doing press with Ben Schwartz (who's been joking about how he "won't stop talking about X-Men" for three press tours now, and at this point James just plays that caricature of himself unprompted, bringing up Cyclops out of nowhere and even dropping quotes), so he's definitely not shying away from the subject in general. Here, I'm almost getting a "doth protest too much" vibe, as if Marvel has called him about something potentially happening but asked him to keep quiet about it (because they tend to want to keep these things secret), because the interviewer didn't even bring up any rumors (she was speaking hypothetically), and he jumped right into denying it. Not saying that's an accurate read at all, maybe he had just had another interviewer ask a more direct question on the subject seconds before this, but he could be overcompensating for being in talks to appear somewhere in the next couple of Avengers movies.

The Last Stand was pretty much the worst of all the X-Men films.

I say Dark Phoenix is by far the worst.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is the worst. Because not only did it fail to tell a good story; it failed at the craft of storytelling on a very basic level. It took a mystery that had been set up as important to the character of Wolverine (in that...not knowing made him sad), and instead of putting Wolverine on a quest to uncover that mystery, so that either succeeding or failing at uncovering it (or having to make the difficult choice to give up the chance to get his memories back because he might not like whom he'd become) could affect his character arc, it instead just told the audience what happened and how he forgot the whole thing, leaving the character untouched by the revelation. That's not a story, that's a waste of time. The Last Stand and Dark Phoenix may not have been great adaptations of the Dark Phoenix saga or the other elements they adapted from other comic storylines, and there were certainly questionable creative choices in both of them, but they were at least...something. Both of them were basically functional stories. One arguably more cluttered and superficial than the other, but both at least had endings that left the characters emotionally changed in some way. X-Men Origins: Wolverine did nothing for the character of Wolverine except spoil his driving mystery for the audience, which led to that search for answers storyline being pretty much dropped in subsequent movies and never properly completed. Instead of adding value to the bigger story of Wolverine, it took away a very important part of it. That's a level of storytelling incompetence that makes both The Last Stand and Dark Phoenix look like great movies.

Nah. That hands down goes to Dark Phoenix. The Last Stand is a damn masterpiece compared to Dark Phoenix. As are all the others.
