Wolverine doesn't just have the healing factor and adamantium skeleton/claws. He has superhuman strength, speed, agility, and stamina, AND vastly heightened senses (particularly his sense of smell; he can even smell certain forms of EM radiation) as well as "animal instincts" which help him survive in the wild or in combat.
@MagnaRyuuDesigns6 жыл бұрын
Wolverine's abilities include healing factor, mutant immune system, hyper keen senses, increased agility. The Adamantium claws are not an ability, the bone claws that the adamantium bonded to are technically an ability.

Technically the gambit thing could be possible considering that the ninja turtles were mutated by the same chemicals that Matt Murdock got blinded by, him being the daredevil and gambit being in the X-Men means that they're in the same universe, ergo gambit could beat up the ninja turtles and pillage their plunder.

Okay, come on, guys, this game is NOT hard. It's one of the few SNES side scrollers I can actually beat. I takes just a little dedication and knowing EVERY move that EVERY character can do, and knowing when to use them. Also, there are five endings, and the final boss' health stays at whatever health you got him down to the last time, so you can use an easy character to take him most of the way down, then switch to whichever character whose ending you want to see. This is NOT Castlevania difficult.

I remember this game being super hard as a kid, with Psylocke's stage being hardest of the bunch _(admit it, we've all paused the game when doing Psylocke's leg sweep)._ I could never throw Gambit's cards or use Cyclops' laser on command, so I'd just mash buttons and barely get through the stages that required them. The presentation though, especially the music, made this game worth playing alone. Whenever a Sentinel would appear as a boss, it would always be a badass moment as a kid.

This was my main X-men game when in the 90's. To answer your questions regarding characters and personal series: Wolverine has an ongoing series (and also a few alternate mini series), Gambit also had his own series for awhile. Rogue, Storm, Cyclops & Jean Grey had their own mini series too. Cable, X-man, had their own ongoing series for several years. And even villains such as Sabretooth and Magneto have had their time to shine. I know there's a lot more than that, but that's not too shabby.
@mattmorgan8816 жыл бұрын
That Magneto Point Blank and the Sabertooth series blew the good-guys' mini series out of the water. They were doing great anti-hero stuff back then. My favorite mini-series of the time were the Venoms - Funeral Pyre and Lethal Protector.

You mean the beat'em up arcade game? "X-Chicken" game? Yeah, it is pretty great. This one is great too but it's apples to oranges. This one requires you to spam the special moves and be tactical in the boss fights and the other is a button masher with limited access to special moves as a lifeline.
@animanga876 жыл бұрын
What I mean is the SNES game wasn't really a port or counterpart to CoTA in context of the SNES being too weak to have a console version of the fighting game like you said. Capcom managed to port a good version of Street Fighter Alpha 2 on the SNES, which also made it to the Saturn along with Children of the Atom. I think MA and CoTA are just two different games completely and not a result of lack of porting options on the SNES.
