Yeah, that is the part that I don't like. Even if presented with evidence of Sinister wrongdoing, they still have a lot of known mutants (who might not be as powerful) could still take most of the members places. This is just set up for the Fall of X which I am not interested in at all.

Hey Rob, fan of your content here. But you got a few important details here. Killing Moira to reset the timeline and killing all the Sinisters in that timeline were two different events. He uses a failsafe to kill everyone with an Essex gene (infected with his personality) and pretty much does a Galaxy/Universe-wild human sacrifice to ascende to dominion-hood. It fails, and later Moira and Ironfire kills the Moira-clones.

There's a few things out of order there. Like the storm clone has memories, just not storm's. The comic says that the memories for the clone are pulled from Jon Ironfire's mind, rather than a backup. The bit above about the moiras is right, but when sinister does hear from moira, she explains to him about the timeline. He does get some knowledge, at least its implied, but the biggest thing is that he lost, and that another sinister finished ahead of him. As for Raputin IV, she doesn't show up out of nowhere. Mother Righteous' spell, which Moira used to override Sinister's download, brought her here. That's also where the library is from, moira used the spell, but that also helped out the past version of Mother RIghteous. In the end, she's the real winner of the sin's of sinister event, since she now has the life and regrets of 1000 years of that crazy timeline. That's why she knows all those crazy things.

Sorry, I know this is going to be unpopular but I haven't been able to stand the X-Men since Hickman took over and each new work is just over the top I love Hickman's fantastic four through secret Wars. Even voluntary segregation is morally wrong and makes our characters into villains. Second, everyone and everything is just insanely overpowered, it's beyond silly. Remember the original 1980s secret Wars? If you put almost any single current X-Men character into that event they would win instantly, including smoking Galactus (which is called Tuesday in 2023 Marvel). Moira is a perfect example, her little mutant power overrides the power of the Sentry, Wanda, Galan, Chthon, Owen Reese and the Beyonders? No. Reveal that she isn't resetting the universe but when she dies her knowledge transfers to Moira in the next timeline, okay. The rest, sorry, it just all feels like a little kid that says his is better cause it can do all the stuff your can do... Combined!

You are not alone. Aside from a few tidbits sprinkled throughout in my opinion everything from onslaught on has pretty much been hot garbage. At least the onslaught Story had a purpose. The fact that nothing is permanent makes it irrelevant. it's just a big "What if?" Story. I like to read stories that can build and add to a continuous universe, not multiple universes. It weak writing. I miss the days when characters that die stay dead in order to pave the way and make room for the new.

In terms of this entire run. I think it’s phenomenal. Sinister was written so well, and I enjoy the specific characters such as storm getting insane spotlight. She really is such a powerful character. Honestly that fact that such a feat is the equivalent of her “deathcry” makes it insane. Hope this storyline continues for a while and just as well

5:37 - Jubilee did use her powers in her totality in the final issue of X-Terminators. Pretty cool. 18:29 - My conclusion after reading this issue was that Mother Righteous from SoS managed to save the last thousand years of info and send it to 616 Mother Righteous. Mother Righteous seems to be the most formidable of the Sinister clones. She's powerful in sorcery and every time someone "thanks" Mother Righteous she's got you in her web. 14:24 - I like the theory that the Dominion Sinister is one of the Sinister's from one of Moira's previous lives. 21:03 - they were released in the following issue of Immortal X-Men. SoS was alright. Not great but not terrible.

Rasputin didn't come out of nowhere future moira cloned her in present time with future rasputin's memories. The way sinister crashed up against the dominion when he tried to ascend make me think of the part in DBZ when frieza tried to deflect the giant spirit bomb. It also ate legion when he ascended but we didn't know for sure til Mother righteous told him we just saw him leave the story, that's crazy.

Honestly let me try to explain the power of the juggernaut. “Once he begins running, he cannot be stopped.” This actual ability isn’t a strength feat (tho it can be correlated if you’d like to argue). The ability is more like a law. It’s something that affects reality so greatly, that it becomes as true as gravity. Of course, this can be used against him, it’s how a lot of people “defeat” him. Making him run out of a fight. But the ability shines in this story. I believe the process in which Juggernaut killed Thanos can even be explained. So, Juggernaut goes at his unstoppable momentum through space. He gets warped near the head of Thanos. This is how the interactions plays. Juggernauts ability means no matter what, he will continue on his path. Even if the speed in which the Juggernaut travelled wasn’t enough to kill Thanos, Juggeranuts path could not be impeded. The result is the Juggernaut passes through Thanos, and coincidentally, that also kills him.

Hi Rob, concerning the question of who achieved dominion status, when re reading HoX and PoX I've come across something that could be very interesting for the answer : when, in PoX, the Librarian talks the drone version of Nimrod, the former mentions that they must prevent "them" from achieving dominion. The thing is, the main topic of the discussion is humans (also mutants but it seems the main main topic is humans), so we could understand that the Librarian is saying that humans achieved dominion ; but another thing is that when he says that "they" must prevent "them" from achieving dominion, the character is standing in front of the pod where Wolverine and Moira were held captive. So I think, if the new writers want to follow the trail of Hickman, the real answer lies in the understanding, and the decrypting of theses few panels

Mother rightous saved rasputin 4, thats why theyre teamed up. Also mother rightous was the first one to reach the lab (in nightcrawler comic 3). So she uploaded her info first. After sinister died, moira probably killed the moira. Since it already had rightous' info, it doesnt matter who killed it. Rightous got the info in year 0. Doesnt mean rightous is the god. The only real question is how did rightous bring rasputin 4 into the present...

Based on how Marvel writers go about a story no one here reached Dominion, they are far away planning out Simister's errors. My guess is the one to beat Sinister to the punch is Moria, with Cerebro she once again has control over her power without clones and tampering the 1000 years of information is in Cerebro. My theory relates back to the labs Sinister used what could have linked to it once he applied his DNA across the resurrected mutants; but stayed quite. Whenever Charles comes back a factor not naturally part of his power also returns as an accessory that helmet.

The conclusion to sins of sinister gave good power boosts to iron fire and Charles and to Ororo. But the add on to the Marvel multiverse was interesting because this one might have been the timeline where the mutants exterminate humans and win. But the end is just a rehash of what happened.

Not necessarily. Logically boosted Iron fire (if he ever learns to think like that) but i think they really just upped the possible power limits of Charles and Storm. I don't think either will ever be able to reach that, and honestly unless the MCU touches on Storms ability to tap into mysticism. I doubt they'll ever use it in a main xmen comic with storm again.

These guys are straight ruining all of Jonathan Hickman's great works. Hickman did for the X-Men exactly what he did for the FF and for the Avengers, making them amazing. Bringing all the heroes & villains together Against humanity. The mutants being able to be resurrected is a genius idea, after he left you've got these guys making clones of characters? Like WTF? Now, instead of there being one true Wolverine[Logan], you've got Beast killing him? Wolverine is one of the toughest X-Men ever, but they're making him look Philadelphia cream cheese soft. Beast killing Wolverine? Yeah right. Not only that, they're making clones of him, Beast makes clones of himself, & others. This is the dumbest thing Marvel has done since them retconning Scarlett Witch & Quicksilver, making them not Magneto's children, or saying Franklin Richards isn't a mutant when he's always been a mutant. They used the cosmic control rod to ease Susan's pregnancy and birth. The radiation affected Franklin, so he was born. Once you're naturally born w/ powers that typically manifest during puberty, you're a mutant. Given powers e.g. Deadpool=mutant. Ever since Hickman left? Ugh! These X-Men books are starting to make no sense. They had the greatest writer in X-Men history since Claremont w/amazing artists? Bottom line: BRING BACK HICKMAN!

Marvel has turned their mutant stories into a bunch of what ifs or outrages stories. This story is a bunch of garbage, Marvel just jacks their powers up til they rule the universe and discard real powers like Thanos, Galactus and Dr. Doom with prosperous ease. I want to see a follow up where Dormamu is released from his vow and turns all the mutants to cheese.

Rob, dude, I notice your reading comprehension on comics has been slipping for about a year now. You have been getting the stories wrong in many many videos. Not grossly wrong, but noticeably wrong. Maybe it's coz you're busy irl amd you forget the details. Bit if not, you gotta read the comics slower as to not jump to conclusion.

Aftaer all tbe storues, i think it was kind of lame. So many obstacles just glossed over and contrivances to get past certain moments. Very cool idea, but the writing felt off honestly. If She ( ❤ ) became a goddess, i couldn't figure out how. Shes killed out right, and unless they decide to rewrite what happens later to make excusses that be ridiculous. I think it was the Baby that ascended after being rescued. Thousands of years being manipulated in statuses could've caused it to put things in favor of one Sinister over the others.
