I feel bless and fortunate that our founding father Mr LKY implemented the 2 language policy for us to not only retain our culture, but also connect and communicate seamlessly with the world.

Guess you have not talk to any Singaporean professionals that have graduated from well-known Singapore school
Taiwan can learn from Singapore's success in promoting English as a second language, but will need to adapt these lessons to its unique context. With sustained effort and targeted interventions, Taiwan has the potential to become a bilingual nation by 2030, enhancing its competitiveness and global connectivity.
Singapore’s English follows British English. We don’t speak English with the American slang, we speak Queen’s English in formal occasions as well as in business meeting whereas we speak Singlish in informal occasions and amongst friends. Perhaps you have not encountered any Singaporean that speak American English with you but that does not mean Singaporean do not speak proper English.

@@ambarvalia9757 blah…blah..blah…whatever. East Asian Chinese speak English with a funny slang too. Taiwanese tried very hard to copy their American papa with their funny American slang and HKers speak with strong Cantonese slang
@@wawawa8964 Nope, if we used the long-form Chinese characters, many Singapore Chinese students will definitely fail the Chinese exam paper and no ethnic Chinese Singaporean child will be interested in learning Mandarin
