Interesting video. Thanks for this. Just one correction: It is not Christchurch you show on the map at 10.30 but Dunedin. Christchurch is North East of Queenstown and is more than twice the distance you indicate.

Thanks very much for this video. I have had 4 attempts to get this to work and found it to be singularly user unfriendly to get to work. I also found the help from matt and co to be next to useless, they really need a good manual written by non computer nurds which will enable non nurds to get up and running, it is no doubt a good prog so hopefully I will now get it to work

Thanks Q, you´ve awakened my interest again. I am happy to say that I am a devoted fan of yours. In your next video on this ProjectFly please clear up the dif between a paid and non paid subscript, and is it worth it. And too, please make a tutorial about setting up and using VATSIM. Most of these video tutorials are from 2014 and totally useless to those of us having XP 11.26R2. I now have it up and running but it took quite a few hours shifting to get the end result. XsquawkBox install instr are so vague, and VATSIM gives nothing other than a link to download site. Thanks again for your vidoes, I owe you a Bier Sir...Collect anytime...

Friend a doubt, when I fly in the x737 and keep the flight (situation) and the other day cargo flight all the settings of the plane are reset, buttons, radios, FMC, nose that can be done in that case

For me, the thing i don’t like is the logbook because i have been keeping a logbook for all of my previous x-plane flights and seeing projectfly with an incomplete logbook (without my previous flights) just doesn’t look right. Hopefully they will add a feature where users can manually add their own flights in the logbook

I think the logbook is great, it would be nice to be able to import your logbook, but probably not all needed information will be available for the integration which would make this almost pointless.

simbrief is just a dispatcher, this is much more, a logbook at heart with aircraft sharing features and a soon to be dispatcher which will be "better" than simbrief as it will use real world routing data.

Simbrief already uses real-world routing by simply selecting one of the options which checks to see if the route you have chosen with the various waypoints and airways is allowed under aviation rules. If the waypoint or airway is illegal, it will return an error. I use it all the time.

The main difference between Academic and Professional is that the professional version can't be used for entertainment. If you intend to crash the plane and do funny things, then you will breach the EULA. Other than that, there is no difference in Add-ons or how the sim behaves.

Well, it's my opinion, since I prefer the 787 over the triple 7 (irl). Both are extremly good aircraft and are superb modelled. If you prefer the 777 over the 787 (irl), go for it. Both aeroplanes are on par, tbh

both are extremely good aircraft, and pretty realistic. If you want to do really long hauls (+8h) go for the PMDG777, otherwise go for the QWings 787

Firstly locate X-updater in your aircraft folder, then download JAVA from google. After installing JAVA run the Xupdater with JAVA, follow the instructions such as your Username, key etc and then it will update :) This is how you update any payware plane
