Another well done video my friend! Nice to see old school flying the way I learned. I believe the alt warning you got was because all three altimeters have to be in agreement. If you look above the artificial horizon you will see the alt light is lite in the instrument comparitor. Thanks again.

Hope you're well . Thanks for this video I watched it several times. I realized I wished I had you as a resource 4-5yrs ago when I started X plane 9. I had to slog thru numerous web sites figuring out Joystick and Renderings etc. I hope folks realize how much you help Noobs and how much work is involved. Because of you I've upgraded to an I-5 4690 OC to 4.5GhZ and next is an Nvidea 1070-1080 to get the type of graphics you have. The MilViz 737-200 doesn't have IAS mode... and you have to click ALT HOLD when you are coming up on your altitude manually. But it has a great combi version!

Hello Q8 pilot, lately during the pandemics, I started to read some old encyclopedia from my grandpa's basement and came accross about LORAN and Omega navigation system. Because these systems are both operated in 1970s, it is safe to assume that 737-200 or 727 might used it back in the day, right? If so, how does the systems work? Where was the display, do they need navigator crew in the cockpit to be able to operate it? Can you gives a simple example how does the systems work? Or does the CIVA systems operate both LORAN and Omega GNSS system simply like modern day GPS systems? Thanks before for answering my questions

Hey Ruben, thanks for watching! It would be useful for you to watch my VOR Navigation video, but here is a quick tip. When you setup the VOR station frequency, the OBS needle will turn. You need to keep turning the OBS selector, until the needle is pointing "To" the VOR station, and the needle is centered. That would be the correct course and will then need to adjust your heading to fly to the course.

Hi Osamah! How you doing sir? I know X-Life allows to insert a fms plan with VOR points. But after that, how is X-Life support with VOR In-flight? For example, before landing, does the program give us special instructions, or it will give me a STAR like a "normal" navigation? Your ATIS gave the QNH in inches!!! Whereas for Bahrain etc it should be millibars. Also "naughty naughty" you quoted the frequencies using "point" instead of "decimal". You should only uses inches and point if you are within FAA territory!

It is one of the best! But wait a little while as the aircraft is being updated for XP11. I am sure you would get the updates for free, but it is currently not fully compatible with XP11.
