50x50 is not overkill especially when considering how many people prefer desk mats. companies need to start standardizing this size. Regular large mousepads arent deep enough. 50x50 is actually the perfect size for people who rest their forearm on the desk.

I rest my forearm on my desk, and I consider this overkill. If you have your mousepad right on the edge of your desk or even a little bit "off" the desk so that your forearm ONLY touches the pad, then I would say this size is very good 💪

@@hausgaming exactly, I noticed that you have your pad pushed up a bit so your forearm touches your desk. My forearm gets caught on my desk so I like my arm to only be on the pad. I keep my pads flush with the edge of my desk. Good review though! I really like this pad but its a bit too fast for me.

GP4 is very good yes, I prefer the coated versions. Durability seems fine at least for a coated pad.

I purchased this mousepad in September of 2020. At the time, the x-raypad website stated that the ROB version was coated, but now it looks like all versions of the mouse pad are uncoated. Does anyone know why this is or when they made that change?

@@coffee1080 The pads are "ink coated", which basically means the pads are dyed with heat treatment process. There is no additional layer on top of the cloth -> it's not coated! Most white pads are actually dyed this way as well, not sure if the AC+ white is, but I'd guess it is.

I never wash pads myself, so I can't really help you in regards of this sadly :(. Usually pads need to be washed if there is some dirt on them.
