I just found you on KZbin. Thank you for all the advise and how to. I made same roof top tent as you but shorter on wide side and I have made bracket to attach to the side/corner of Aluminium intrusion roof top tent bottom part and to that bracket is attached another Aluminium profiles which open out of the side and that is my low profile awning. That way nothing stick out of the body shape of the car ( like other awnings) or roof top tent when owning is close. Yes one side look different then other side of the tent but that way on forest nothing can catch branches....I put as well this type of heater as yours and first I made air pipe from side window as your idea, but then I utilized my panoramic roof window. I made air tie seal around the panoramic roof attached it to cut in roof top tent same size as opening on panoramic roof and now I have heated floor in roof top tent lol, I have cut in matters openings ( in the area above panoramic roof window and saw mesh material to that openings to get more air floating to inside roof tent when is deployed. The air tied seal is inflate on side of roof top tent using on board compressor and when I am driving I can left this air tied ( the mattress in rooftop tent will be warm after accessing to camping place lol) or I can deflate the air seal put inside roof top ten opening and close the opening ( the profiles has some thickens so they can accommodate air seal and closing plate without disturbing flat floor in roof top ten). When I am not overlanding I can easily take the roof tent out as I have made brackets 6 of them attached to roof ( they brackets can be detach too). Those brackets has “U” shape ( with one arm shorter on the under roof top tent profile) with 10cm long and 8mm thick rails on which roof top ten sit (as those alu intrusions have slots) and is screw to outside side of the intrusion tent. That way I have very low profile and easy to put in and out and very sturdy roof top tent which is important when off-road. Yes it take time to take it out if I want remove roof top tent as it has 12bolts to hold tent to roof brackets but that is why we have Milwaukee tools lol and dual battery system on board to charge all the battery for those tools and chainsaw. Like your work. Keep those videos coming please.

А фен на бензине, это не опасно. Я отапливаю гараж феном. Топливо дизельное смешивают с бензином. А в машине, не загорится?

@@alekseizobnin2650 Это очень дешевый дизельный обогреватель, но после установки работает без проблем. Топливом является легкое масло, поэтому оно очень безопасно.

Good video. I know those heaters use about 10amps of battery on startup and then about 1amp per hour when running so a good large capacity is needed. Do you have a split charge relay to charge the battery back up again or just charge it at home on a mains charger?

The auxiliary battery is 55Ah, but it can be started for 10 hours or more. In addition, charging is mainly done by the driving charging system installed in the battery. I will buy solar panels in the future.

I installen an engine preheater- Ebespächer. It is meant to heat the coolant and if it is ca 40c then it switched the cars own blower motor on.

How is it after two years? What are the dimensions? It looks the same in size as the 5KW one.

It's been two years since I installed it and I'm still using it without any problems. The ceramic glow plug stuck in the main body causes misfires due to burning out [error 10], so it is replaced once a year. It is safe to have spares. This heater is indispensable during the winter season. 5kw use is a little larger size

@@HeadwayDrive Thanks for the reply! I ordered 2kw, I hope the dimensions are the same 34x11.5x11.5. In the position where the exhaust is placed, does gas enter the passenger compartment? I was thinking of putting the heater exhaust in the car exhaust.

@@gepesan It will be okay 34x11.5x11.5 size. If you fix the heater body and fix the exhaust at the muffler position of the vehicle like I did, the exhaust gas will be blown away by the wind and will not enter the vehicle. Always point the exhaust towards the outside of the vehicle.

エクストレイルT31に乗ってるのでいつも参考に視聴させてもらってます。よく車泊するので自分もガソリン車なんですがエクストレイルにFFヒータ付けたかったので真似してチャレンジしたいと思います。質問なんですがヒーターその位置で寝れるレベルの音量ですか？？

ヒーター本体の燃焼音は気になりません。 音の感覚は車両のヒーターを最大より少し弱くした感じでしょう。 風量を最大に設定しても、たとえ他の雑音があっても私は気にせず寝ることができます。 しかし燃料ポンプの音が結構大きいです。 車外へ固定しましたが、カチカチ音は聞こえるのでそちらの方が気になるかもしれません。 風量を弱く設定するほどポンプは遅く作動しますがカチカチ音はよく聞こえます。 最大側に設定しているとカチカチ音は聞こえにくいですが、本体の音が大きくなります。 この辺の感覚は人によって違うと思うのでなんとも言えないです。 最近雪の降る日に、検証目的で車中泊をしてきましたがとてもよい結果を得られました。 動画は編集中です。

いつも楽しみに観させてもらっています。 私もT31に乗っています。参考にさせていただき、FFヒーターを同じ設置場所に取り付けたいと思っています。 そこで質問なのですが、ジャッキケースはどうやって取り出せましたか？ やはり内張りすべて外さないと無理でしょうかね？

基本的には内張を外さないとジャッキケースは取れません。 スライド式の収納を下ろしてシートを外す。 ハッチのキャチ部分のパネルを外せば左下の内張を外せます。 内張を外さずにジャッキケースを取り出せるか確認してみますね。

ありがとうございます。 私も購入する前から、設置場所や大きさの確認など下調べしました。 SUVは設置場所が限られますね、排気と吸気、燃料ポンプとホースの取り回しを考慮しながらなのでとても大変です。 車両に穴を開ける前提の製品なので失敗もできません。 車両の排気と近いところに固定するなると左側になりましたが、私の設置場所は参考程度に考えて下さい。
