SO MANY pros still confuse polarity and phase. Polarity is flipping on the X-axis (top to bottom). Phase is sliding along the Y-axis (left to right) and is time dependant. So cool you know your stuff!

Hello Daniel. Excellent videos. I enjoy everything learning from you! I am wondering if you had a video on how to add an external compressor to the M32. I want to add a DBX 162SL "purple" compression unit in stereo on a pair of channels being used by DJs for an event coming up. I have seen a few videos out there on how to do this but none are complete. That is, the presenter doing the video doesn't explain the process in enough detail to be able to understand it very well. And from what I've seen there are two different ways of going about it. Please let me know if you have a video on this. Thank you very much!

I haven't done a video about this but i can do it. In short you're gonna route an aux output to a direct out from the channel, the plug that aux out into the input of the compressor, then plug the output of the compressor into the aux input. Now you are getting the compressed signal on the aux. Raise the fader of that aux to hear it in the mix and turn off the main stereo button on the initial channel so you don't send the same signal twice to the main LR

I'm not sure what you have available but if your mixer is analog you need an external digital signal processor. You may find one around $400 usd I tried searching for a cheaper solution that only does delay but i couldn't find anything. So you need either a digital mixer that has outputs delays or a digital signal processor
