Does the wireless charger interfere with closing the cover for the cup holders?

Yes it does, you cannot close it any longer after charger is installed, that would be relevant only if you actually use it, before the wireless charger I never used the cover anyway it was always open because I used cup holders all the time so it didn’t change anything.

Hi, I have not made one since it’s so easy, just plug into cigarette lighter and put it place, but I can make one if need be 🙂

@@MotorsportInspired Thanks for responding. I've since sussed it out and it seems simple enough. I have an iphone 14 plus so just trying to work out if the phone will fit with a case etc - is 170mm long with the phone case

You forgot to remove the screw under the under the cradle that you forgot to show/talk to unscrew before taking the cradle off.

It seems there was a vent there so you could keep drinks cool and you deleted it?

I had the same the speculation before I did this, I like my drinks cool as well 😎😁, but I’m happy to say the fan on the back is only for charger cooling not actually to cool the compartment, the cooling effect of the compartment is from the channels below that run there. Somehow provides cooling to the storage, after this conversation my drinks are still cool I can confirm no negative effects 👍

The x5 has wireless charging. This is located in the center console on the left side. You have to put the phone in there.

Yeah but the charger is hot garbage and causes phones to overheat. Not worth the risk to your phone
