I think she's a middle manager between the void lords and the old gods. I reckon she travels planet to planet to help summon void lords into the universe, as she did for Dimensius on K'aresh, but the Azerothian old gods were enjoying being torturegods too much so they teamed up and imprisoned her in the dagger. It'd explain why she seems bitter about the other old gods while still serving the void lords, and it makes her very dangerous without just being a screamy beast from beyond
