Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men's game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy-which has been awarded to the winner since 1916-is inscribed with names such as Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player.
The 2024 PGA Championship is set to take place between 13-19 May at Valhalla Golf Club. The reigning champion is Brooks Koepka.

Short putts are way more intimidating than long putts for me. I can lag a ball down and be happy with anything inside 3-4 feet but a 4 footer with anything on the line and I’m nervous about it. At least with a 50 footer you aren’t supposed to make it.

I agree. I think longer putts are less stressful because you realize there is less chance they should go in, and then every once in a while they do. But short putts we put a lot of pressure on ourselves because we think that they must go in, and how embarrassing it will be if they don’t.

I’m so glad he won it, I was there to see him play round 2. He threw his glove at me as he was walking off the 18th. An adult sadly caught before I could. It’s called a lip-in. Lip out would mean that the ball lipped out of the hole. So, literally zero lip outs go in. 0.00000 percent. But yea, lip ins aren’t as common as lip outs
